As an intern, you will work with your colleagues to gain insight into our end users’ capabilities in predictive maintenance.

How will you do this?

You will investigate which end users are interested in predictive maintenance;
You will investigate which electrical components fail first;
determine the lifespan and durability of the components;
identify which predictive maintenance functionalities are desired by the customer;
you examine which available functionalities fit in and which still need to be developed.

No day is the same for a mechanical engineering sales engineer, because you never know in advance which problems you will have to solve today. As inside sales engineer you are the figurehead of the organization for the customers in the Netherlands. From our office in Rotterdam, you will work closely with the field sales engineer.

Specifically, you are the specialist for the Drive Products product group in the field of drive technology (including motors, gearboxes and frequency inverters). These products are used in internal logistics, aviation, food, amusement parks, automotive and mechanical engineering.

How do you do this?

You talk to customers to identify and analyze their problems (mechanical and/or electrical engineering).
You calculate drives and work out drive applications.
You advise customers and make quotations.
You work together with other departments, such as engineering and assembly (lean manufacturing) and with the headquarters in Germany.

The inside sales team is based at the head office in Rotterdam, as well as at the Purmerend, Venlo, Zutphen and Gorredijk locations. For this team of 10 inside sales engineers that deals with the daily contacts and activities for our end customers we are looking for a Manager Inside Sales.

What will you do?

Give direction, coaching and guidance to inside sales engineers.
Initiate (new) activities aimed at the end customer group.
Cooperation with your fellow team managers, such as the team managers of Service and Outside Sales.
Keeping track of the planning, status and reporting this to your Management Team member.
Act proactively and know how to set the right priorities.

How do you do this?

You work together with the customer and with other colleagues, for example from sales and the engineers in Germany, to find the right solution to the customer’s problem;
You write software and program our own motion controllers, HMIs and PLCs;
you provide training to both customers and your own colleagues;
you advise and support customers and colleagues in the field of safety and EMC.

In the position of assembly worker, you work in the logistics chain of the production department. This in the broadest sense of the word, so from the moment of receiving, checking, locating, assembling, spraying and packaging products to the moment of delivery to the customer.

For our locations in the Netherlands, we are looking for a new colleague for the position of Service Technician Electrical.

The position has a focus on commissioning, diagnosing and programming variable speed drives, servo systems and controllers. In addition, traditional services such as repair, maintenance and retrofit of the SEW program are part of your duties. Service is a growth market, companies are increasingly calling on our expertise.
