We have successfully designed and installed a turnkey air purification system at a Recycling and Logistics Center in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. This system, featuring a covered biofilter with a humidifier, offers an efficient solution for odour removal and air purification. Delivered as a turnkey project, the system was completed in just six months, from initial design to full commissioning.
Odour Removal Techniques
System design: We developed an efficient network of air ducts to extract air from two large waste-sorting halls. The contaminated air is channelled through these ducts to a humidifier.
Covered biofilter: The purified air is then processed through a covered biofilter housed in a closed concrete structure, topped with a durable tarpaulin cover.

Enhanced performance: The cover ensures controlled airflow, promoting consistent and even humidification of the filter material. This improves the efficiency of microorganisms, boosting the removal rates of odours and ammonia.
