Multi-screen, polymeric, self-cleaning filter with a unique mechanism and innovative design

Dutch Filtration designs and manufactures filter systems and filter elements in house. They are also Amiad’s distributors in the Netherlands.
Amiad Water Systems has developed a new family of filters called the Sigma range, consisting of the Mini Sigma and the Sigma Pro.
The choice to make the filter bodies and internals from a mix of polymers means that the filters are extremely lightweight and have a compact size. In addition, the filters are modular and are easily adaptable to many physical configurations and can be grouped together into batteries if required. The polymers construction makes the Sigma family very resistant to a wide range of chemicals.
The Sigma range consists of the Mini Sigma which can accommodate inlet flange sizes from 50mm to 100mm (2” to 4”), and the Sigma Pro which continues from 100mm up to 200mm (4” to 8”). They are capable of handling flows from 30m3/h up to 280m3/h and can cope with pressures ranging from 1.5 to 8.0 bar (22-116 psi). The Sigma family of filters utilize an automatic self-cleaning using suction scanning technology to clean the molded stainless steel weavewire screens. These screens are available from 50 to 500 micron and are interchangeable.
The truly innovative aspect of the filters is the innovative ADI-P controller which interfaces with the advanced ADI-P app. Which offers a full monitoring and control functionality through the ADI-P app, enabling the user to access detailed filtration performance data on their smartphone or tablet. The operator can start the cleaning sequence for the filter using a timer interval set at the controller, a signal from the pressure differential sensor or via a manual start from within its own app.
The ADI-P controller can store filter information within its memory ready for download whenever the controlling phone or tablet comes back within Bluetooth* range.
