Dutch Filtration is distributor of Amiad in the Netherlands. Amiad’s Arkal Spin Klin disc filter technology uses thin polypropylene discs with specific micron dimensions. These discs are grooved diagonally on both sides and are stacked in opposite directions and fixed on a specially designed column. This creates a filter surface where the particles are collected. The disks are firmly clamped together during the filtration process under the influence of the pressure difference and with the help of a spring. This results in exceptional filtration efficiency. Filtration takes place because water flows from the outer diameter through the disks to the inner diameter of the filter element. Depending on the micron rating, there are several splits in each track, creating a deep filtration.
The Disc filters are available in different series: All series consist of a modular complete polymer automatic disc filter with a patented self-cleaning backwash mechanism.
The 3 “and 4” Spin Klin Apollo systems vary in flow rates from 90 m³/h (395 gpm) to 600 m³/h (2,640 gpm) with filtration rates ranging from 20 – 400 microns. Inlet/outlet of 150 – 300 mm (6 “- 12”) diameter.
The 4 “and 6” Spin Klin Galaxy systems: flow rates of 200 m³/h. (880 gpm) to 3,000 m³/h. (13,200 gpm) with filtration rates ranging from 20-400 microns. Inlet/outlet of 200 – 400 mm (8 “- 16”) diameter.
The 2 “- 3” Spin Klin ™ systems: flow rates from 10 m³/h (44 gpm) to 200 m³/h (880 gpm) with filtration rates ranging from 20-400 microns. Inlet/outlet of 80-200 mm (3 “- 8”) diameter.
The Arkal Spin Klin 2 “Compact filter: flow rates of up to 20 m³/h (88 gpm) with filtration rates ranging from 20 – 400 microns. Inlet/outlet – 50 mm (2 “) diameter.
Super Galaxy filter is based on Arkal’s Spin Klin disc filtration technology and is specially designed for high flow rates. The degree of filtration varies from 400 to as fine as 20 microns. The Super Galaxy is available both horizontal and vertical.
