When an analyzer is used in dirty/waste water, it is necessary that the solid particles are removed from the water to be measured. For this purpose, we have developed the filter unit, also called the Qsenz Analytical Filtration System (AFS). In addition, this filter unit can also be used in combination with our sensors, which means that we can measure more accurately with the same sensors.
A 0.1 µm membrane filter is placed in the waste water. This filter is designed in such a way that maintenance is as minimal as possible. The membrane straws are placed in such a way that the flow of the waste water ensures the cleaning of the filter.
A peristaltic pump sucks the filtered water to the analyzer or sensor. The AFS can be activated by the external sensor/analyser or can be set to continuous.
