About us
Pentair in Winterswijk specializes in the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of both standard and tailor-made pumps and pumping systems. Our pumps are used, among other things, for drinking water pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants, flood control pumping stations, and fire extinguishing systems. We have an in-house R&D and engineering department, foundry, machine workshop, assembly, test facility, and service network.
During the Aqua Nederland Vakbeurs we will introduce a new range of wastewater pumps, all equipped with our revolutionary Xcentric impeller. Due to the increase of fibrous wipes in our wastewater, in combination with grease, sewage pumping stations' pumps regularly become clogged. This results in high operating costs, reduced efficiency, and health risks for maintenance personnel. With our years of hydraulic knowledge, we have developed a new impeller that helps prevent clogging of wastewater pumps. Wastewater pumps
The patented Pentair Fairbanks Nijhuis X-centric Impeller is specially designed to prevent clogging of wastewater pumps. This innovative impeller is at the heart of our latest range of sustainable wastewater pumps.
Condition monitoring system
Condition-based maintenance using the Pentair Fairbanks Nijhuis CMD 19 system. Real-time information about the condition of the pump (machine). Automatic notification when the pump and/or motor is running in the unfavorable zone (C or D). This can prevent serious bearing and mechanical seal damage. Smaller chance of unexpected downtime. Maintenance becomes more schedulable. With the CMD19 your unmanned pumping station is still monitored. Monitoring of: bearings radial and axial (according to ISO 10816-3); speed; bearing temperature; Crash detection (one stop); automatic notification of imbalance/contamination (via email and/or via SMS).

With four workshops in The Netherlands and a worldwide network of service representatives, you can rely on a wide range of after sales services. Along with inspection, repair and (predictive) maintenance, our experienced field engineers can support you with installation and commissioning on site. Add to that the supply of original spare parts and you know that have come to the right place for support throughout the complete life cycle of your pumps.
Fishfriendly pumps
The patented fish-friendly pump allows more than 97 percent of the fish and even 100 percent of the eel to pass through the pumping station unscathed. The fish-friendly pump was developed in response to the adverse effects of conventional pumps in pumping stations on the fish stock. A substantial part of the fish mortality is caused when fish collide with the impeller blades and/or guide vanes when passing through conventional pumping stations. Furthermore conventional pumps greatly interfere with the innate migration of fish, and the eel population is especially threatened.
