Indien het niet mogelijk is om de bron van trillingen te reduceren danwel te isoleren is het vaak wel mogelijk om constructieve aanpassingen/modificaties door te voeren. Het toepassen van de juiste methode is afhankelijk van de meerdere factoren en praktische mogelijkheden.
