Logisticon Water Treatment B.V.
About us
What is your aim? Do you want to reuse your water or wastewater? Reduce your ‘water footprint’? Achieve a reduction in your chemical or biological contamination levels? Reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)? Meet stricter environmental, health and discharge requirements? Or achieve structural improvements in water quality?
Then it is good to know that Logisticon Water Treatment has been a reliable partner for some 30 years and is able to create a favourable TCO for both standard as well as extremely complex water treatment issues. This applies to the preparation of drinking and process water as well as treating communal and industrial wastewater. Within environmental technology, Logisticon is consulted with increasing frequency to optimise
sustainable, innovative groundwater treatment and remediation processes. You can choose from semi-permanent or permanent solutions, mobile and pilot solutions, and from purchase, lease or rental options, or you could even consider outsourcing for total support.

BIOCOS®
Climate change, population growth, and extreme weather events are placing increasing pressure on water systems. Energy consumption and the CO₂ footprint can be reduced by implementing energy-efficient, sustainable, and compact wastewater treatment systems such as BIOCOS®. BIOCOS® technology (BIOlogical COmbined System) offers a smart, sustainable, and space-saving solution for the biological treatment of wastewater and is a cost-effective alternative to conventional activated sludge systems. This hydraulic system combines the power of activated sludge with the efficiency of granular sludge and stands out through its unique sludge selection and cyclic process, fully controlled by aeration. Thanks to integration with inDENSE® technology, a compact, fast-settling biomass is formed, ensuring excellent removal of nitrogen, phosphorus (Bio-P), and carbon. The result? A robust system delivering high effluent quality, minimal maintenance requirements, and energy savings of up to 25%. Afbeelding: Waterschap Vallei en Velluwe - 3D ontwerp RWZI Hattem.

inDENSE® Improved sludge sedimentation and phosphate removal
inDENSE®: Process intensification through compacted biomass. inDENSE® is a patented solution for continuous selection of sludge with good settling properties using hydrocyclones and promotes biological phosphorus removal. By continuously selecting the heavier sludge fraction, sedimentability is improved, resulting in a lower sludge volume index and stable performance without spring spikes. With inDENSE®, the sludge volume index is permanently reduced, significantly increasing the hydraulic capacity of the treatment plant. The system uses hydrocyclones to select and separate higher-density sludge aggregates, while the light sludge fraction is removed for sludge processing. The underflow contains higher-density biomass that grows optimally under oxygen-free conditions. The hydrocyclones are fed with return sludge from the post-sedimentation tanks. Hydraulic separation takes place in the cyclones with about 20% returning to the biology via the underflow. The remaining 80% will be disposed of as sluice sludge. With continuous sludge selection, the SVI will drop to a value as low as 80 ml/g and any spring peaks will be smoothed by the stable sludge sedimentation properties. With long-term application, more intensive use can be made of available tank volume in both biology and post-settling systems. In addition, inDENSE® prevents problems with sludge leaching, making it a sustainable and effective solution for wastewater treatment plants. Advantages inDENSE®: - Improved sludge settling capacity. - Higher hydraulic treatment capacity - Improved biological phosphate removal - Compact footprint with easy integration - Low energy consumption - No chemical consumption Do you have any questions about inDENSE®? Logisticon's water specialists welcome you to stand E206 at NEXT LEVEL.
