Aqua Nederland is the trade fair of the Netherlands in the field of wastewater, drinking water, process water and urban water & sewer management. The platform brings the market together to face the future of water management together. Since 2022, Aqua Netherlands consists of 2 exhibition halls: “The Water Marketplace” (downstairs) and Next Level (upstairs), with each hall having its own focus.
Networking is an important part of Aqua Netherlands. Therefore, both halls have sufficient terraces where the sector, while enjoying a snack and a drink, can spar together about the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Working together on water
During Aqua Netherlands 2022, the official introduction of Next Level and its innovative offerings took place. The future of water management and climate adaptation are important spearheads at this floor and the focus here is mainly on knowledge sharing, advice, innovation and careers. ‘Working together on water’ is the exhibition motto to find solutions to current and future water challenges together.
Exhibitors
Suppliers for sewer management, public space water management solutions, consulting and engineering firms, innovators and knowledge institutes, among others, will find Next Level the ideal location to connect with the more policy-oriented water professional.
Visitors
Especially the visitor looking for substantive knowledge, innovations, advice in the field of water management or sewer management, or who wants to make a career switch within the water sector, is at the right place at Next Level.
Knowledge Program
Aqua Nederland features a rich program with renowned partners from the water sector. Two Aqua Theaters have been set up on the upper floor.
There are also several parties that traditionally use Aqua Netherlands as a platform to host their member meeting or networking event. The two modern conference rooms and the network foyer are ideally suited for this.
In collaboration with Water Alliance, innovations and start-ups are given a prominent place at the Start-up Pavilion at Next Level. Various companies present their groundbreaking solutions for the water industry here. André Mepschen, Business Developer at Water Alliance, emphasizes the importance of innovation: “Without innovation, one stands still, and standing still is falling behind.”
New to the upcoming edition of Aqua Nederland is the Innovation Gallery. In this gallery, Aqua Nederland presents a selection of six striking innovations from exhibitors. These are solutions that offer clear added value for the water sector and contribute, for example, to better water quality and safety, energy and resource efficiency, greater circularity and reuse, or further digitalization and data-driven operations. At the Innovation Gallery, you will get a clear overview of these innovations and discover which organizations are working on the next step in water technology.
