Aqua Nederland is the trade fair of the Netherlands in the field of wastewater, drinking water, process water and urban water & sewer management. The platform brings the market together to face the future of water management together. Since 2022, Aqua Netherlands consists of 2 exhibition halls: “The Water Marketplace” (downstairs) and Next Level (upstairs), with each hall having its own focus.
Networking is an important part of Aqua Netherlands. Therefore, both halls have sufficient terraces where the sector, while enjoying a snack and a drink, can spar together about the challenges of today and tomorrow.
What can you expect at "Next Level"?
Working together on water
During Aqua Netherlands 2022, the official introduction of Next Level and its innovative offerings took place. The future of water management and climate adaptation are important spearheads at this floor and the focus here is mainly on knowledge sharing, advice, innovation and careers. ‘Working together on water’ is the exhibition motto to find solutions to current and future water challenges together.
Exhibitors
Suppliers for sewer management, public space water management solutions, consulting and engineering firms, innovators and knowledge institutes, among others, will find Next Level the ideal location to connect with the more policy-oriented water professional.
Visitors
Especially the visitor looking for substantive knowledge, innovations, advice in the field of water management or sewer management, or who wants to make a career switch within the water sector, is at the right place at Next Level.
Knowledge Program
Aqua Netherlands has a rich program with renowned partners from the water sector. There are two theaters on the upper floor: the Water Theater and the Urban Water Theater. The Water Theater targets a different audience each day with Process Water Tuesday, Water Board Wednesday and Drinking Water Thursday. The Urban Water Theater focuses on topics around sewer management and climate adaptive solutions.
There are also several parties that traditionally use Aqua Netherlands as a platform to host their member meeting or networking event. The two modern conference rooms and the network foyer are ideally suited for this.
Innovation Street, made possible by Water Alliance
In cooperation with Water Alliance, the Innovation Street will be jointly organized for the fifth time. Visitors here will be informed about the latest and newest (waste) water technology products at a glance and in no time.
Vacancy Plaza
There is a huge workload within the industry and a severe shortage of personnel. Aqua Netherlands is therefore responding to this together with experienced partners. At the Vacature Plaza, water professionals can explore their career options. The most current vacancies from the water sector are presented here for both starters and advanced professionals with broader work experience. Not only at Next Level during the fair, but also throughout the year, exhibitors can display their vacancies on the fair website. Proud partners of Vacature Plaza 2023 included Watervacatures.nl (an initiative of KNW/H2O) and Waterjobs (an initiative of Water Alliance).
