Since seawater desalination is highly energy-intensive, transporting fresh water is a more efficient and sustainable solution. This is achieved through pipelines with a diameter of approximately 1.2 meters. Projects of this nature require more than technical execution alone. They demand integrated management of design, environmental considerations, permitting processes, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
