About us
Aqua D&S is a BRL610 certified company which can fully support and relieve you in the field of legionella prevention.
Our organization is specialized in making risk inventories and management plans, as described in the Drinking Water Decree and in the Health and Safety legislation.
We can support you by taking water samples, checking check valves and our inspection. Through our inspection, your risk inventory and management plan will never again become obsolete. Would you like to implement your management plan digitally? Then we can support you through our Aqua App.
Do you suffer from permanent increases? We have the solution through our filtration capabilities, ultrafiltration and a new method frequency technique.
As you can read Aqua D&S is very active in the field of drinking water, but we can also support you in advice for drain water in the greenhouse and horticultural sector.
In fact, we have several options that can bring your water quality under control. These include pre-filtration, such as a vibrating screen, fabric filter and ultra-filtration. Also, our new method called frequency technique is also used in basins against algae growth.
Aqua D&S strives for clear drinking water without additives for now and in the future.

Ultrafiltratie
Aqua D&S supplies ultrafiltration that is BRL K-14010-1 approved. Ultrafiltration is an alternative technique for legionella prevention and is designed to improve the quality of your tap water and stop mould, bacteria and viruses, while retaining vital minerals. Ultrafiltration may only be used if a Risk Inventory/Management Plan is in place, drawn up by a BRL 6010 certified organisation, as described in the Water Supply Decree. It is crucial that all dead pipes are removed from the downstream installation. By installing ultrafiltration as a gatekeeper, you have optimal protection against Legionella in your drinking water installation. Ultrafiltration removes Legionella bacteria and other micro-organisms from your drinking water installation. Ultrafiltration does not add anything to the water, the composition of the water is not changed, and a brief power failure does not affect the functioning of the ultrafiltration system. The management plan may need to be adjusted to accommodate the flushing operations that must be carried out on a weekly basis. The number of water samples to be taken must also be adjusted, and they must be taken by an accredited laboratory. The pre-treatment of the downstream installation will be cleaned after the ultrafiltration has been installed in accordance with water worksheets 3.8 as described in our scope ISO 9001:2008. Aqua D&S has a disinfectant that is permitted in accordance with Compliance Article 95. The ultrafiltration is only suitable for cold and mixed water with a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. To guarantee the functioning of the ultrafiltration, installation and maintenance (integrity test) are carried out annually by Aqua D&S.

Frequentietechniek
Legionella poses a major risk to managers of drinking and process water installations. Existing control methods, such as copper/silver ionisation, involve undesirable chemical additives and high management costs. Aqua D&S is therefore introducing an innovative, patented solution: frequency technology. This technology activates frequency waves above 20 kHz in tap water. These waves are inaudible to humans and animals, but destroy the biofilm that serves as a breeding ground for Legionella bacteria, among other things. Unlike other methods, frequency technology does not cause corrosion and does not affect the smell or taste of the water. Crucially, frequency technology does not add anything to the water. The technology is marketed exclusively by Aqua D&S in the UK and has been extensively tested and successfully applied in practice. The installation consists of transducers that are placed in the existing pipework via removable plastic Y-pieces. This allows the frequency waves to reach the entire pipe network, including dead pipes. The simple installation, minimal maintenance and one-off adjustment ensure low management costs. Because both bacteria and their adhesive and nutrient base are eliminated, there is no regrowth, unlike with chemical treatments. The technology requires only a minimal energy supply, comparable to a small light bulb, and can be continuously monitored via a control screen. Weighing less than three kilograms and offering a long service life, frequency technology provides a sustainable and cost-efficient breakthrough in the management of drinking and process water.
