ZS4 & ZS5
ZS4 & ZS5 – rental While Atlas Copco offers the full ZS blower range for purchase, our rental division focuses on the ZS4 and ZS5 as flexible, plugandplay units for temporary industrial projects. These electrically driven screw blowers deliver 100% oilfree air (Class 0) and are designed for lowpressure applications such as water treatment, aeration, fermentation, pneumatic conveying, and other processair duties. Equipped with Elektronikon® controls, VSD options, and efficient screwblower technology, they provide stable, energyefficient airflow with excellent control and uptime. All rental units are delivered fully operational; complete with accessories, installation support, and optional remote monitoring.

ZE4 – Rental
ZE4 – Rental At Atlas Copco Rental, we quite literally love to bubble, because many lowpressure applications start with aeration. In wastewater treatment and other waterprocess industries, fine air bubbles are essential for efficient oxygen transfer and process stability. The ZE4 is perfectly suited for these environments, capable of bubbling effortlessly through water columns of up to 11 meters in lowpressure applications. When an electric, 100% oilfree solution is preferred, the ZE4 provides a constant, reliable airflow at low to medium pressures. It’s ideal for temporary projects, maintenance activities, or capacity expansions in waterrelated installations. And 11 meters isn’t our limit. For deeper or more demanding applications, such as offshore bubble curtain systems, we simply scale up with larger, more powerful units.

PTS1600
PTS1600 – rental. When large volumes of air are needed, especially in locations without an electrical supply, the PTS1600 is the goto solution. This mobile, dieseldriven compressor is specifically built for rental use and delivers 100% oilfree air for temporary applications requiring high airflow at low or medium pressures. The unit operates fully autonomously and is powered by a Stage Vcompliant engine, making it suitable for environments with strict emission standards. Whether for planned work or unexpected operational challenges, the PTS1600 can be deployed quickly and supported by our 24/7 service organization.

Screw compressors that supply compressed air below 1.5 bar(g) are called (rotating) screw blowers. The operating principle of a screw blower is therefore identical to that of a screw compressor. Screw blowers are used in various low-pressure applications (wastewater treatment, pneumatic conveying, fermentation applications, etc.). Our screw blowers are certified according to ISO 8573-1 class 0 to protect your business's critical processes and products. Our ZS screw blower is a small and compact blower that can be installed anywhere, even side by side. These compact blowers are easy to maintain and fit perfectly into your existing blower space. They can also be placed outdoors in even the harshest environments, with ambient temperatures of up to 50°C. Central controller- Optimizer 4.0
Optimize your compressed air system with master controllers Save energy and reduce CO2 emissions by automating the control of your equipment. Our central controller Optimizer 4.0 can be set to prevent unequal wear of compressors, equalizing the running hours on multiple machines for more efficient service scheduling and reduced cost. Moreover, VSD and centrifugal units will run at the optimum point whenever possible. Without our central controllers, the load/unload pressure of each compressor must be set to react to changes in air demand. If the system pressure drops, an additional compressor will switch to loaded running. However, the sequence will always be the same, and this leads to a higher pressure than required (the higher the pressure, the higher the energy cost).
