Stainless Steel 316 Sampling Scoop Available in Various Capacity Sizes To ensure the highest possible purity and the correct volume of samples, BAR Instruments has developed a series of stainless steel sampling scoops. In practice, plastic scoops are often used. A disadvantage of these scoops is that they are poorly resistant to sunlight and require frequent replacement. Stainless steel is particularly recommended over thermoplastics when sampling for volatile and non-volatile organic compounds. Due to stricter sampling standards, contamination of microplastics is undesirable, and this is therefore not an issue with these stainless steel scoops. All sampling scoops are made entirely of 316 stainless steel and are suitable for both left- and right-handed users. Available volumes are 500, 250, and 125 ml. To ensure the most accurate measurement, the scoops are designed so that the correct volume is available just below the spout. The measurement indication is therefore on the underside of the spout; varying the volume is also possible. The interior has a smooth finish, minimizing contamination and making it easy to clean. The volume in milliliters (ml) is indicated on the handle of the measuring scoop. The shape of the handle and the grip are designed to allow easy mixing in a container, without coming into direct contact with the medium to be sampled. All stainless steel sample scoops are provided with a laser-etched company name so that it remains a unique product for you. Draagbaar clamp-on flow en energie meter
2025 The Dynasonics DXN-5P is a portable, non-invasive ultrasonic flow and energy meter that helps quickly diagnose flow and process conditions. The flow meter is easily clamped to the outside of the pipe and measures flow from the outside of the pipe through the wall using two ultrasonic sensors. The DXN-5P automatically selects the optimal measurement method—transit-time or Doppler—depending on the fluid conditions. This allows for reliable measurement of both clean liquids (transit-time) and liquids containing entrained air, gases, or suspended solids (Doppler). Combined with RTD temperature sensors, the DXN-5P can also measure thermal energy or mass flow. Ideal for achieving energy savings by performing pre- and post-measurement measurements. Sludge Blanket Level Detector Sludge Blanket Level Measurement System Pulsar’s Sludge Finder 2 is a controller and transducer system that provides reliable continuous sludge blanket level measurement. It is used in thousands of applications worldwide for detecting sludge blanket levels in primary, secondary, tertiary settlement tanks either with stationary or travelling bridges, clarifiers, gravity thickeners or sequencing batch reactor (SBR) systems. The two-part system includes a Viper Transducer which is purposely designed for sludge blanket level measurement. This purpose-built sludge level sensor uses sonar technology it is submersed into the liquid and detects the echoes from the material - any distinct density changes are reflected back to the transducer, the time taken for the echo to return is transmitted to the controller and the distance to the interface is calculated.

Low Cost Clamp-on flow meting; Flow Pulse
Non-invasive clamp-on flow sensor for pipes Flow Pulse flow sensor Flow Pulse® is a unique, non-invasive flow sensor that clamps to the outside of a pipe and is simply secured with a screwdriver. Flow Pulse offers you exceptional repeatability at a fraction of the cost of an equivalent magflow meter. It can reliably monitor flow across a variety of pipe materials including rigid plastic, stainless steel, cast iron and even corrugated pipes. The Technology Within Flow Pulse Flow Pulse fires ultrasound through the pipe wall at 90 degrees to the flow via a tangentially mounted high-output ceramic. Ultrasound is refracted at angles across the axis of the flow and is then reflected from bubbles, particles and vortices in all directions and at a wide range of frequencies. The returned signal is analysed using Flow Pulse's Refracted Spread Spectrum Analysis (RSSA) digital signal processing platform to derive flow information. RSSA analyses and integrates the received signals over a wide frequency range, then slices them for real-time analysis and flow rate calculation.

Ultrasonic wall thickness meter
Dynasonics WT-1 ultrasonic wall thickness meter One of the parameters to be set for clamp-on flow measurements is the wall thickness of the tube. If this is unknown then a wall thickness meter offers a solution. The ultrasonic wall thickness meter from Dynasonics is a particularly compact and versatile wall thickness meter. This Dynasonics WT-1 can measure up to a wall thickness of 200 mm. The accuracy of the measurement is 0.5%. The power supply consists of four internal AAA batteries. After use, the meter wall thickness switches off automatically. As soon as the batteries run out, the WT-1 indicates that the batteries need to be replaced. Due to the high transmitting power, the Dynasonics WT-1 wall thickness meter can be used in a wide range of applications, including pipes with a rough surface. Piping material can be: steel, cast iron, aluminum, red copper, brass, zinc, quartz, glass, polyethylene, malleable cast iron and PVC / CPVC. On the front side there is a 5 mm thick calibration block, with which the user can check the wall thickness meter and calibrate if necessary. Measuring flow with electromagnetic flow meters Another name for this technology is, magnetically inductive flow meter, also called MAG meter, EMF meter or MID meter. The SetLR-Monitrix is specifically designed to overcome solids problems when measuring in the aeration tank of a WWTP. The SetLR-Monitrix is equipped with a NOx monitrix analyser in a heated cabinet suitable for outdoor installations*. The SetLR-Monitrix works on the basis of sample settling instead of filtration, which avoids problems such as biofilm build-up and interference on measurements. The SetLR system is robust, and easy to operate and maintain. The SetLR collects a sample of approximately 4 litres from the aeration tank into a settling tank. The supernatant is transferred to the sample chamber where vacuum and compressed air are used to collect a 50ml sample suitable for analysis.
