About us
Boeg B.V. is an all-round assembly and structural engineering company certified in accordance with the Contractor Safety Checklist (VCA**) and ISO 9001.
We are also active in the broad field of waste-water treatment and water management, working with steel and non-metallic chain-and-scraper sludge collectors for settling tanks and high-performance surface and diffused aeration systems. We also install non-metallic gates, repair sewage pipes, replace pumps, valves and pipes, and carry out inspections at sewers and pumping stations.

Astrumaer hi-performance aerator
What’s new Our “basic” mechanical design has not been changed since 1992: vertical blades connected at the circumference of a horizontal flat plate. However based on many years of experience and testing with cone-shape and rim-blade aerator types the design of Astrumaer has been optimized pointing out following highlights: - Increased open space for blade, creating increased splashing volume (=more contact area between water drops and air) with as result increased oxygenation capacity - Angular displacement of blade, with as result smoother operation and increased oxygenation capacity. - Bevel shaped outside blade, creating a 10% lower tip speed velocity at the underside of the aerator which has a positive effect on mixing and flow propulsion. - Bended top of blade (partially) which guides the splashing of the water to avoid uncontrolled splash pattern and also increases the mechanical strength of blade. - Reduced diameter of horizontal plate which reduces the hydraulically up-trust forces working on gearbox and civil construction. Besides optimizing the shape of aerator impeller the Astrumaer distinguish itself by other suppliers by selecting the most suitable installation looking at project conditions. By using standardized components, such as intermediate shaft, gearbox and electrical motors and adjust aerator impeller to non-standard lay-out the most optimum “aqua-dynamically” solution will be created looking at oxygenation capacity/efficiency and mixing/flow propulsion.

Evoqua Clarifier Drive Head
Evoqua Type H Circular Clarifier Drives are designed for long life and low maintenance with rugged cast iron construction, high torque capacity, and a split main gear for servicing. Type H drives are designed and built to AGMA Standards and are factory assembled and tested to ensure quality. A comprehensive range of models is available to suit your application. Drive Benefits: • Long-Lasting Performance – cast iron construction, high vertical load design, and full involute main gear tooth all contribute to long life and lasting performance. • Low Maintenance – the oil fill, drain, and level indicator piping is easily accessible and the same oil is used for the intermediate and final gear. The stop block gap indicates bearing wear, allowing predictive maintenance before a breakdown occurs. • Low Lifecycle Cost – the drive can be overhauled by plant personnel with minimal downtime. The split two-piece main gear allows replacement of bearings and strip liners independent of the main gear and without removing the bridge. This translates to lower costs and a longer lifecycle of 50+ years
