EMI Twente is an independent contract research company specialized in membrane technology. We help organizations get the most out of their membranes. From practical troubleshooting to independent performance validation, we combine our years of hands-on experience with solid laboratory analysis. Membrane Autopsies

Electrodialysis
At EMI Twente, we offer comprehensive support in the field of electrodialysis. We develop ED membranes tailored to the specific requirements of our clients, such as selectivity, chemical stability, and electrical performance. This ensures that the membranes are optimally suited to the intended application and process conditions. In addition to membrane development, we perform detailed characterization. This includes testing permselectivity, electrical resistance, and ion exchange capacity. These measurements provide in depth insight into membrane performance and form a solid basis for further optimization and scale up. To connect knowledge with practice, we will also be hosting an upcoming webinar on this topic.
