Heartfil eliminates odorous gases such as hydrogen sulfide (H2S), thiols (R-SH) and amines (R-NH) coming from sewage collection and processing operations. With our chemical odor scrubbing, the equipment applied are small, subject to low maintenance and economical solutions allowing installation of multiple small units. This principle we call “Distributed Odour Control”.

Odorous and corrosive gases can be removed from the environment by the method of dry scrubbing. Dry scrubbing can be further broken down into three methods: -Activated or impregnated carbon -Impregnated activated alumina -And a combination of the above two via one or multiple banks of media
