Founded in 1971 by Hiller Snr., Hiller is a medium-sized German (Bavaria), family run company. With over 50 years of experience in developing and manufacturing decanter centrifuges and turnkey plants, we guarantee the highest possible product quality.

Decanter Centrifuges
The HILLER DecaPress series has always been characterized by a rigid and stable running and highest possible separation results. All sizes of the DecaPress reach high throughputs with significantly reduced flocculant consumption. This leads to a very high economic efficiency which applies for all HILLER decanter centrifuges. After successful launch into the market of the sizes up to 570 mm bowl diameter HILLER now also has implemented the new design in the tried and tested and well-established types of series up to 760mm. Hiller DecaSmart
The newly developed DecaSmart compact system series is ready for use immediately for your separation task. HILLER compact units for dewatering, can be put to work on your separation task straight away. In order to be able to offer an optimal solution for different throughput volumes, a DecaSmart of the decanter size DP31 is offered in addition to the current HILLER DecaSmart DP45N. The most significant advantages of the new, compact decanter series, among others, the quick availability for the operator, the simple plug and play integration into the running operation, as well as the attractive price with low operating costs. All process-relevant units are optimally matched to each other and are controlled and monitored via the integrated, user-friendly HILLER switchgear. HILLER systems have always stood for high operational reliability and long service and maintenance intervals. All units and measuring instruments are obtained exclusively from reputable companies with a focus on a long lifetime and maximum operational safety. Hiller decanters for sludge thickening and disintegration
General process concept: To achieve an ideal consistency in the raw or mixed sludge prior to the digestion, as a general rule the excess sludge is mechanically thickened before mixing with the primary sludge. The excess sludge thickening reduces the amount of sludge fed to the digestion tank. This yields considerable energy savings and better use of the digestion system, as well as longer retention times in the digestion process. This results in further reduced digested sludge quantities as well as improved dewatering properties thereof. Decanters for thickening are not designed according to the classical counter current principle, but according to the direct current principle. Thanks to this design, the suspension passes through the entire length of the centrifugal chamber in the direction of the discharge. The centrate water runs through channels in the direction of the weir openings. The result is a very long clarification section and thus minimal or no polymer as well as achieving the highest separation efficiencies. Hiller Lysate technology: The HILLER lysate device is attached in the area of the sludge discharge openings and uses the existing kinetic bowl energy. The disintegration effects in the thickened waste activated sludge (WAS) are mainly caused by impact and shear forces generated by the knife blades rotating at high circumferential velocity in the labyrinth and the lysing chamber. The WAS disintegration is carried out in the full flow of the thick sludge that has entered the lysate device; no lysate enters the separated centrate water. Advantages: - Viscosity reduction and better pumping properties at high thickening degrees - Cell disruption increase resulting in an increased degradation of the organic share - Gas yield increase - Improved dewatering behavior
