About us
Noardling: shaped by time, made by people!
Water is vital. This era calls for innovative solutions and smart ideas. With the shared expertise of three renowned brands in water technology, Noardling offers sustainable quality solutions that you and future generations will benefit from for many years to come. We carry three brands that have proven their worth in the water market; Desah, Hubert and Landustrie. With these three brands, Noardling offers solutions and products for every part of the water chain! We supply a wide range of products for treating and transporting water, both nationally and internationally. All these products are designed and manufactured in-house and can be found in wastewater treatment plants, in water intake systems, (polder) pumping stations, pumping stations and hydropower plants. We are also at home in new sanitation techniques such as decentralised wastewater treatment, where valuable residual products are reused. Thanks to the combined knowledge, experience and resources, we can supply products of even higher quality and develop innovative solutions that meet dynamic future requirements.
Landustrie offers solutions and products for transporting and treating (waste) water. Think of the extensive range of pumps and pumping installations, pumping stations for optimal water management and equipment for sewage treatment plants.
At Desah, innovation and sustainability are of paramount importance. Desah stands for the decentralised treatment and purification of waste water, whereby valuable raw materials and energy are recovered and reused. This new sanitation has proven itself in several projects in the Netherlands and abroad.
The Hubert brand focuses on innovative water filtration and offers products and solutions for efficient protection and filtering of water intake. Hubert products are used for cleaning water that is extracted from the sea, rivers or lakes. Think of power stations, petrochemical industry, refineries, desalination plants, drinking water and irrigation installations and industry with a high demand for process water.

Hubert micro screen
Fine Filtration for Large Water Flows Hubert micro screens, also known as horizontal rotary micro strainers, are widely used for pre-treatment of influent and effluent in wastewater treatment plants. These filters are increasingly important for efficient reuse of wastewater from municipal plants or industrial processes, enabling recovery of valuable raw materials like cellulose fibers and meeting stricter discharge requirements. Custom-engineered for optimal efficiency, Hubert micro screens are tailored to meet customer-specific needs, leveraging the client’s expertise in their processes. Additional applications include (fresh) water intakes, where they serve as fine pre-filtration systems in potable water production plants or industrial facilities consuming significant amounts of process water. Hubert’s horizontal drum screens are designed to discharge debris through the main shaft, with the filter positioned in an enclosed pit or tank. Our definition of horizontal drum screen implies that debris is discharged through the main shaft and the filter lies in an enclosed pit or tank.

Landustrie weedscreen cleaners
Landustrie Weedscreen Cleaner: Effective cleaning for pumping stations and water inlets. A reliable screen cleaner is essential for efficiently removing debris from (sewage) pumping stations, water inlets, and wastewater treatment plants. We supply high-quality screen cleaners for a wide range of applications – durable, quiet in operation, and suitable for both wide and narrow water inlets. Whether you need a chain cleaner or a fully automatic overhead cleaner, we always offer a customized solution. The automatic operation, solid gripper construction, and minimal maintenance requirements make our solutions the ideal choice.

Landustrie surface aerators
Landustrie surface aerators provide high oxygen input with consistently high efficiency. Landustrie surface aerators offer a reliable, energy-efficient solution for aerobic wastewater treatment. With a high and consistent oxygen input, low maintenance costs, and a long service life (up to 30 years), they are a solid choice for both industrial and municipal wastewater treatment plants. For situations where temporary aeration is required—for example, during maintenance, emergency solutions, or temporary capacity expansion—we offer the option of renting a floating aerator. A surface aerator—also called a point aerator—introduces oxygen into the wastewater, an essential component of the aerobic treatment process. Our aerators combine optimal oxygen input with sufficient mixing and propulsion of the wastewater. The aerator's unique design ensures even oxygen distribution and prevents sedimentation and dead zones. This keeps the aeration process efficient and stable. We have our own full-scale test tank in Sneek. This allows us to perform oxygen measurements as well as vibration and noise measurements.

Landustrie Archimedes screw pumps
Custom-made screw pumps for reliable water transport! Looking for a robust solution for pumping large volumes of water? The Landustrie screw pump offers the solution. For over a century, we have been producing screw pumps – also known as Archimedes screws – for applications in pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), irrigation projects, and flood management. Each screw pump is custom-designed and manufactured in our own factory in Sneek. Thanks to their open design, low energy consumption, and maintenance-friendly construction, our screw pumps have an exceptionally long service life, even under the toughest conditions. The Landustrie screw pump functions as a positive displacement pump based on the principle of Archimedes screw. At the inlet point, water flows into compartments between the blades. The rotating motion and the angled design gradually move the water upward. This open and clog-free design allows us to pump large volumes of water at a relatively low speed – without the risk of clogging or damage. This makes the auger extremely suitable for continuous use, even in water that is polluted or contains coarse particles.

Landustrie sewage pumps
For wastewater treatment, we design and supply a wide range of LANDY pumps. These pumps are designed and manufactured in-house at our Sneek facility. The pump range includes both submersible and dry-installed pumps and mixers. We offer a variety of materials, including cast iron, Duplex, and Nihard, a wear-resistant material. We are happy to work with you to select the optimal pump for your specific application. This can include the corresponding control system and telemetry. We also offer a service department that can respond immediately in the event of malfunctions or emergencies. Rental pumps are also readily available.

Desah gecontaineriseerde afvalwaterzuivering
Desah – part of Noardling – has been a pioneer in decentralised wastewater treatment since 2005. What began as a spin-off from Wetsus has now grown into one of the three innovative brands within Noardling. With a fresh perspective and a strong focus on sustainability, Desah develops circular solutions that set the tone worldwide. Desah develops modular and flexible systems for the decentralised treatment of domestic wastewater. Our technology is successfully applied in a wide range of situations: from new housing developments and existing urban areas to office buildings, holiday parks, hotels, and remote settlements. Even mobile toilet rental companies use our systems. Desah also offers an efficient and sustainable solution for providing additional capacity for existing wastewater treatment plants. One of the solutions Desah offers is a compact, biological wastewater treatment plant in a container format. Desah's compact AB system (Adsorption/Bio-oxidation) offers a smart, robust, and fully automated way to treat wastewater, without a sewer connection and with low operating costs. The container design is scalable and mobile, and can be quickly deployed without major civil engineering work (plug & play). This solution is ideal for locations where wastewater needs to be treated locally because a sewer connection is not (yet) possible.
