FastBallast: Ballast Water Compliance Monitoring Device. Independently Certified - Rapid on-board testing of treated ballast water to ensure compliance with the IMO D-2 Regulations
FastBallast: Ballast Water Compliance Monitoring Device Independently Certified - Rapid on-board testing of treated ballast water to ensure compliance with the IMO D-2 Regulations Quick & cost-effective: Results delivered in less than 10 minutes, minimising vessel downtime and impact on port operations Compliance made simple: Compact, portable instrument designed to be operated by a single person with no requirement for reagents Size-Independent Results: New algorithms and sensitive detection deliver accurate counts at the regulatory threshold, independent of cell size How does FastBallast compare with other CMDs? Other CMDs that use active fluorescence estimate living cell concentration by assuming a fixed value for the variable fluorescence per cell (Fv/cell) — but this can vary by over 2 orders of magnitude depending on cell size across the 10–50 µm D2 range, leading to large errors. FastBallast solves this with a patented multi-step process: Level 1 – Rapid Screening (3 minutes): Uses an estimated Fv/cell to identify samples that have clearly passed. If this is the case, testing ends here. Level 2 – Accurate Cell Count (less than 10 minutes): If the Level 1 test is ambiguous, a Level 2 test is automatically conducted. This calculates actual cell concentration based on the distribution of Fv and then infers average cell size from Fv magnitude. This improves accuracy where borderline results occur. Level 3 – Size Check: Ensures a few large cells aren’t hiding many smaller ones. This avoids the need for filters or retesting — saving time and hassle. Get in touch with our experts to find out more about the unique advantages of using FastBallast for compliance testing.

portable gasdetector with live monitoring, man-down and panic button
Portable gas detection equipment plays a crucial role in ensuring safety in (wastewater) treatment plants and production industries. These devices are designed to quickly and accurately detect the presence of hazardous gases, which is essential for preventing accidents such as explosions, poisoning, and asphyxiation. A major advantage is that you can calibrate, bump, and maintain the devices yourself using the docking station. (Bi-)annual calibration is no longer necessary. You also gain insight into usage and alarms, further enhancing safety. Portable gas detectors are compact and lightweight, making them easy for your employees to take to any worksite. Our gas detectors range from single-gas to multi-gas units with a man-down function and panic button. They cover everything from common gases to exotic gases. These detectors have a lifetime warranty on the electronics, offer the best features, and are user-friendly. But we go even further. LENS WIRELESS allows portable devices and portable Area Monitors to communicate with each other. Colleagues' alarms are visible to everyone in the group, and these alarms can be communicated via Wi-Fi/4-5G/LAN to outside the group. This allows the relevant supervisor to see which alarm an employee receives, along with the device's current position. Our products are also frequently used for turnarounds and fence monitoring. Ideally, they communicate wirelessly with each other, and via the industrial modem (RGX), alarms and notifications with GPS position are sent via email and SMS. These notifications can also be viewed in the free iNet software via an IP address, so they can be accessed on any device (laptop, smartphone, tablet) with an internet connection. A new feature of the RGX is the ability to switch equipment on-site via built-in relays.

Gas detection systems for Sewage treatment plants with online monitoring
Modern society lives and works with toxic and flammable gases and vapors on a daily basis. Today, gas is an economical, technical and indispensable medium, but can suddenly become a major hazard if left unchecked. Sewage treatment plants: At a temperature of 37 degrees, bacteria break down the biological substances in the sludge and a digester gas consisting of methane and carbon dioxide is produced. It is used in combined heat and power plants to generate electricity and heat. Gas leaks caused by ageing and vibrations on fittings are detected at an early stage. The alarm system can stop the gas supply, close the solenoid valve, switch off the burner, switch on the ventilation and alert the zone at risk. Thanks to our many years of experience in the field of wastewater treatment, we are able to offer products that are specifically tailored to the requirements and risks of wastewater treatment plants. In addition to our high quality products, we also offer comprehensive consultancy services to ensure that our customers receive the best possible solution for their specific requirements. Our experienced team is on hand to help you select, install and maintain the right products for your wastewater treatment plant operation. With our commitment to quality and safety, we will help you to safely protect your wastewater treatment plant.
