LAR online TOC analyser for waste water
Online monitoring of the TOC content of wastewater gives you a better insight into the pollution load you will be burdening the treatment plant with. This enables you to better control the purification process and adjust it if necessary. The analysis of the waste water also allows you to immediately check for possible leaks in your production process. A sudden increase in the TOC content in your waste water flow often indicates an error in your process.

Badger Meter Flowmeters
Whether improving accuracy, reducing system maintenance or meeting demands even in challenging conditions, Badger Meter Electromagnetic Flowmeters deliver the performance your critical measurement applications demand. A suitable instrument for every application Badger Meter's ModMAG line contains different models so there is a suitable solution for every application. The M1000 transmitter is suitable for bi-directional flow measurement of liquids with a conductivity >5 S/cm. It combines all the possibilities of price with high level performance. Information about the flow rate, total flow rate, daily flow rate or even a warning can be easily read from the LCD display. When that little bit more is required from a measurement, the M2000 is the perfect solution. With the M2000, the highest measurement accuracy is achieved and pipe diameters up to 2 meters can be measured. Of course, the M2000 has an easy-to-read display and the instrument is equipped with all usable outputs. The new electromagnetic flowmeter with modular design enables flow measurements in ATEX zones 1 and 2, in both compact and remote versions. The amplifier housing, made of powder-coated aluminum, has a protection class IP 67. Programming can be done with closed housing via three buttons. M5000 The M5000 is a battery powered electromagnetic flowmeter with very high accuracy even at very low flow rates. Excellent repeatability and above-average battery life make this innovative water meter indispensable for the water market. Typical applications are leak detection in water networks, water consumption measurements and irrigation installations. The meter is best suited for applications without a power supply where exact consumption or flow rates are required.

The transition to sustainable, renewable energy is well underway and biogas is a good example of this. Biogas is a gas that is created as a result of the fermentation of organic material, such as manure, sewage sludge or dumped household waste. The biogas mainly consists of methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2), but also components such as oxygen (O2), hydrogen gas (H2) and hydrogen sulphide (H2S).

Leakwise Oil on Water detection
This floating sensor is an ideal instrument to quickly detect oil leakage into the water. The measurement is based on a high-frequency electromagnetic absorption technique. The water or liquid surface forms the dielectric between the two capacitor poles. The great advantage of this technique is that no false alarms occur and maintenance is nil. This detector is widely used in the following industries: oil, petrochemistry, power generation and distribution, transport, on- and offshore.

LAR Online measurements for proceswater
With more than 10 trillion liters of process water used annually in Dutch industry, it is important to safeguard the quality of water and prevent pollution. One of the most important parameters to measure the degree of pollution is TOC (Total Organic Carbon). As the name suggests, a TOC analyser measures the total content of organic carbon compounds for both process water and return condensate. Other parameters such as total carbon (TC), total inorganic carbon compounds (TIC) and total nitrogen (TNb) can also be analysed. The online TOC analyser is an accurate measurement method to monitor and control wastewater during your production processes. The control of the process water and/or return condensate is realized by means of a high temperature oxidation (1200 °C) in which the sample is completely converted into CO2 and water, among other things. The formed CO2 is measured in a NDIR detector after treatment. Checking the quality of Purified water and Water For Injection (WFI) are also possible.
