Storage & Process tanks
Plasticon Composites offers a wide range of solutions for storing fluids or solids. These solutions are made out of full GRP or dual laminate materials. The choice of material makes storage tanks of Plasticon Composites easy to install in different environments. From experience we know that every application has its own specific requirements. Plasticon Composites’ storage solutions include detail engineering, manufacturing, transportation and installation of all components.

Piping Systems
GRP Piping Systems Since 1969, Plasticon Composites has enjoyed a worldwide reputation in glass fibre reinforced pipes and fittings. Today, piping systems are available in a variety of standard diameters ranging from 25 to 1200 mm. Plasticon Composites offers pipe and fittings to meet all national and international standards depending on the area and application. Combining the strength of GRP and the chemical compatibility of plastics provides customers with a superior alternative to costly metal alloys and rubber-lined steel. Dual Laminate Piping Systems In addition, Plasticon Composites manufactures and installs thermoplastic lined GRP (dual laminate) pipes for aggressive products such as chlorine gas, hydrochloric acid, sodium hypochlorite and caustic soda. Various thermoplastic and fluoropolymer liners were combined by Plasticon Composites (PVC, C-PVC, PP, PE, PVDF, E-CTFE, FEP, PFA, MFA) with glass fibre reinforced polyester resins to provide customers with dual laminate piping systems for extremely hot and corrosive environments. Application Areas Due to their excellent properties, Plasticon Composites piping systems can be used perfectly in several environments. These include all kinds of underground piping systems designed according to ISO 14692 and AWWA 45. Plasticon Composites can also supply insulated pipes for cooled water conduits used in tropical and subtropical regions or in cold environments. These include heat tracing to prevent the medium from freezing. The use of polyurethane insulation finished with a GRP laminate ensures 100% vapour-tight insulation. Plasticon Composites can comply with any requirements relating to product identification. Piping systems: •Cooling water piping systems •Process piping systems •Auxiliary piping systems •Underground feeding piping systems Applications: •Flue gas desulphurisation •Fire fighting •Food processing •Water treatment •Water purification •Sewage treatment

Process Equipment
For chemical recovery and pollution control, Plasticon Composites offers process equipment such as vessels, reactors, scrubbers, biofilters, biogas reactors and many related accessories. This equipment handles the full range of dynamic and hydrostatic loads for chemical environments in industries such as wastewater treatment, power generation and chemical processing. Additional system components including internal and external piping, distribution systems and ducting can be produced in virtually any shape or configuration. Many of the Plasticon Composites products manufactured today are designed to withstand high pressures and temperatures ranging from - 40°C up to 250°C. A selection of the process equipment Plasticon Composites supplies: •Pressure vessels (CE) •Quenches •Mixing tanks and reactors •Columns •SO2 and HCI scrubbers (FGD) •Cooling and drying towers •Bio filters •Spray headers •Biogas reactors •Catholyte and Anolyte headers •Covers •Deodorisation scrubbers •Settlers •Salt saturators •Separators •Cyclones •Evaporators •Internals •Headers •Lava filters •Electro filters •Membrane housing
