Pro Water is your reliable supplier of measuring and control equipment, capable of measuring nearly every parameter in any type of water, both manually and online. We are the official distributor for the Benelux of brands such as Tintometer, Gebrüder Heyl, Kuntze, GO Systems Electronic, LAQUATWIN, Horiba, and Satron. Our products guarantee accuracy and quality, ensuring that you can always trust the results of your water analyses.

Pro Water was formed from the merger of Vogelzang Chemicals and BLW Visser Chemical Products in 1994, leading to the establishment of Visser Vogelzang Chemie. Both companies were local distributors of chemicals operating in a highly fragmented market, where many small players struggled to survive. During a time when investments in environmental and safety considerations were high, it became increasingly difficult for companies with a revenue of less than 25 million euros to operate sustainably. These circumstances prompted the merger, which aimed to enhance the strength and resilience of the combined organizations.

One of the founders of Pro Water worked at BLW Visser as a chemical salesperson. He came up with the idea to expand the product range to include measuring and control equipment, as measurements are frequently required when handling chemicals. At that time, there were already four employees within Visser Vogelzang Chemie focused on the sales of measuring and control equipment, making it a logical next step. By the end of 2000, the opportunity arose to separate the measuring and control equipment segment from Visser Vogelzang Chemie. In April 2001, Pro Water was established as an independent company, with a small team of three working from Hengelo.

In the early years, Pro Water primarily focused on the public and private swimming pool market, offering a complete product range for water treatment. However, due to strong price pressure in this sector, Pro Water quickly decided to exit the private pool market and focus on other opportunities. In mid-2005, a strategic decision was made to make measuring and control technology the core activity of the company. This shift in focus opened the door to new markets and opportunities. Through distribution agreements with the esteemed brand Gebrüder Heyl and later with GO System Electronic, Pro Water has established itself as a valued supplier of high-quality measuring and control equipment.

In 2008, Johan van Brakel joined the team and took on the role of head of sales. Under his leadership and with the accumulated expertise, Pro Water has grown into a leading player in the Benelux, known for its reliable equipment and excellent service. Pro Water remains committed to delivering the highest quality in measuring and control technology, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and innovation.
