U-F-M | Ultrasonic Flow Management
"We measure flow." That is the shortest description for what we do at U-F-M. We sell, rent and install ultrasonic flowmeters; instruments for measuring the flow rate of liquids and gases in tubes, pipes and tanks. We like to use the word 'flow' often. And also 'ultrasonic", the principle our measuring method is based upon.
MEASURING FROM THE OUTSIDE
Whether it concerns waste water, drinking water, leak detection, open sewer or a closed pipe, with an ultrasonic flowmeter you will obtain reliable results quickly and easily. The external mounting of clamp-on sensors makes this method an interesting alternative to in-line flow measuring.

KATflow 200 | Katronic portable clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter
The KATflow 200 is a portable ultrasonic flow meter providing engineers with a robust, easy-to-use and lightweight instrument that offers the measurement performance of more complex and expensive devices. With a weight of less than 700g, the KATflow 200 (Katronic™) is a very light portable flow meter which can be carried in one hand. This makes it an ideal tool for the use in confined spaces. Due to its robust housing with rubber shock protector, the flow meter is suitable for applications in tough, industrial conditions. As with all other Katronic flowmeters, the KATflow 200 offers an intuitive instrument menu and Setup Wizard which guides the user step-by-step through the meter configuration. The correct installation of the clamp-on sensors on the pipe is made easy by the incorporated Audible Sensor Positioning Assistant which gives the user visual and audible indications during sensor mounting.

KATflow 210 | Katronic waterproof clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter
The KATflow 210 (Katronic™) is a portable flowmeter designed for situations which require a reliable flow measurement regardless of the conditions in which it needs to be operated. With its advanced battery technology and durable waterproof housing the instrument is intended for long-term installation in remote areas where access to power is limited and exposure to the worst of elements is likely. This device has been further enhanced by the inclusion of a specially manufactured IP 68 version of the K1N stainless steel transducers which increases shock protection and ensures this ruggedised package provides the perfect balance of reliability, robustness and autonomy.

KATflow 230 | Katronic double channel clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter
The KATflow 230 is a portable clamp-on flow meter with two measurement channels offering a variety of optional features. It is a compact and robust instrument that comprises additional functions that can turn it into more than just a flow meter. In contrast to its hand-held counterpart, the KATflow 230 (Katronic™) offers two measurement channels which enable the instrument to monitor two pipes simultaneously. This dual-channel measurement function can also be used to monitor one single pipe in a two-path sensor mounting configuration in order to increase the accuracy under difficult flow conditions with disturbed flow profiles. The incorporated calculation functions Sum, Difference, Average and Highest Value complete the dual-channel feature.

KATflow 100
The KATflow 100 is for permanent flow metering applications. The flow meter has a reduced specification for applications where the more benefits of the more advances KATflow 150 and KATflow 170 are not required. Its small size also allows the installation of the flow meter in areas where the KATflow 150 would not be practical. The transmitter electronics are housed in a robust wall or pipe mounted aluminium enclosure and can be powered by AC or DC power supplies. In spite of its relative simplicity the KATflow 100 (Katronic™) still offers the user a wide range of input, output and communication interfaces such as RS 485, Modbus and the more traditional 4-20mA and Open Collector pulse.

KATflow 150 | Katronic advanced clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter
The KATflow 150 (Katronic™) is for permanent flow metering applications. Its modularity offers comprehensive configuration options to make the instrument suitable for everything from simple water flow measurements to energy flow monitoring, automated process control and product recognition. The transmitter electronics are housed in a corrosion-resistant, wall mounted enclosure and can be powered by AC or DC power supplies. By offering a wide range of input, output and communication interfaces such as RS 485, Modbus and HART*, the flow meter can easily be connected to process automation systems.

UFM-70 FS | Multifunctional ultrasonic flowmetering system
The UFM-70 FS is a multi-functional ultrasonic flowmetering system for non-invasive and non-intrusive flow measurements of liquids and liquid gases in fully-filled tubes. This system works on the transit-time method and can be supplied with one or two measuring channels. This allows the flowmeter to monitor two separate pipes at the same time.

UFM-50 | Clamp-on ultrasonic doppler flowmeter
The UFM-50 is ideal for contaminated or aerated liquids containing more than 10 % solids or air bubbles, as a result of which other types of flowmeters are quickly damaged. This ultrasonic Doppler flowmeter is recommended for full pipes and any fluid that contains solids or bubbles, like wastewater, chemicals, acids, slurries, abrasives and viscous liquids. Because the sensor of the UFM-50 is mounted on the exterior of the pipe or tube, it can not be affected by the medium inside. This means no maintenance, no contamination of the sensor, no obstruction to the free flow of the liquid, no pressure loss, no corrosion and no pipes that need to be opened for the installation of measuring equipment. You can mount the display housing in a convenient location nearby the installation itself.

UFM-55 | Portable clamp-on doppler flowmeter
The UFM-55 is designed to measure volumetric flow of within closed conduit, the pipe line must be full of liquids, and there must be a certain amount of air bubbles or suspended solids in liquid. The Doppler ultrasonic flow meter can display flow rate and flow totalizer, etc., and is configured with 4-20mA, Relays for Totalizer and Alarm outputs.

UFM-30 | Fixed installation flowmeter for large scale projects
IDEAL FOR LARGE-SCALE PROJECTS When looking for a cost-effective solution for a large-scale industrial project, this fixed installation clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter could just be it. Designed with the latest ultrasonic digital technology, low-voltage broadband pulse transmission as well as a relevant test program. Tolerant of liquids with small amounts of air bubbles and / or suspended solids. Distinctive when it comes to accuracy and reliability. The clamp-on transducers (available for both low and high temperatures) are mounted externally on the pipe’s surface. This means no drilling in the pipe, no maintenance, no contamination of the sensors, no obstruction to the free flow of the medium, no pressure loss and no corrosion. Provides long-term no-drift measurements. The operating software monitors changing circumstances and adjusts parameters accordingly.

The UFM-15 is unique in its functional design. The compact monitor helps you optimize your production process by continuously measuring and monitoring the flow. In just 2 to 3 minutes the installation will be completed and you can start measuring. The OLED display makes it easy to read data in low light. This flow watch is suitable for different pipe diameters and materials.

UFM-40 | Clamp-on flowmeter for water applications
IDEAL FOR LARGE-SCALE PROJECTS. When looking for a cost-effective solution for large-scale, industrial water applications, this compact clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter could just be it. Designed using FPGA chip and low-voltage broadband pulse transmission. The UFM-40 has a tolarance of liquids with small amounts of air bubbles and / or suspended solids. UFM-AVFM | Area Velocity FlowMeter
PARTLY FILLED PIPES AND OPEN CHANNELS. The Area Velocity FlowMeter is especially suitable for open channels, partially filled pipes and pipes without a flume or weir. Ideal for (industrial) waste water, effluent, rainwater and irrigation water. The ultrasonic sensor continuously measures both speed and level to determine the flow in an open channel or partially filled pipe. The completely sealed sensor is resistant to contamination, corrosion and abrasion and is mounted on the bottom of the pipe or channel. Careful selection of the sensor mounting location results in the best performance and maintenance-free operation. Avoid locations where sediment builds up.

MS 2500 - Electromagnetic flanged Flow Sensor
The universal flanged sensor MS 2500 (ISOMAG™ by Isoil) is suitable for all applications and flow ranges, and available with the widest range of diameters. Precision and repeatability data depend on the converter chosen for coupling. MS 3810 - Electromagnetic Insertion Flow Sensor
The MS 3810 is an insertion sensor (ISOMAG™ from Isoil) for mounting on pressure lines with a diameter of 80 to 8000 mm. Ideal for temporary measurement campaigns, pipe monitoring and leak detection. The MS3810 comes with a wide choice of sensor lengths for installation in pipes of different diameters. Also the possibility to integrate the functionality of pressure measurement.
