Engineer
Your responsibilities:
As an Engineer at GW Leidingtechniek, you will be involved in the technical drawing and design of pipelines and pumping stations. You will perform calculations that form the basis for technical decisions.
You will also undertake the following tasks:
- Designing and developing above- and underground infrastructure using 2D and 3D drawings;
- Performing calculations and simulations;
- Digitally and analogically measuring as-built data and processing this into revisions;
- Calculating materials and quantities based on specifications and drawings;
- Analyzing flow rates, pressure drops, and temperatures of fluids;
- Selecting materials and components for pipelines and pumping stations;
- Preparing projects and determining strategies (from concept to installation);
- Drafting technical documentation, such as specifications, test procedures, and manuals;
- Managing and monitoring timelines, project progress, and deadlines; - Develop technical solutions that meet customer requirements and safety and quality standards;
- A proactive attitude toward innovations and improvements in techniques and processes.
This is you:
- A Master's degree in Pipeline Technology or a Bachelor's degree through education or work experience. Preferably in Civil Engineering;
- Knowledge of pipeline technology, infrastructure, and materials;
- At least two years of work experience as a (junior) engineer or in a similar position;
- Knowledge of CAD software, such as Civil 3D, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Revit;
- Knowledge of tools, such as ANSYS, COMSOL, CAESET II, and MATLAB;
- Possess a VCA basic certificate or be willing to obtain one;
- Fluent written and spoken Dutch.
