Process Engineer
As a Process Engineer at Jotem, you will work on projects from the quotation phase through to delivery. You will be responsible for the technical foundation of water treatment installations. Based on water analyses and customer requirements, you will determine how the installation will be constructed technically, which components are needed and how these components will work together to form a properly functioning whole.
You will work in multidisciplinary project teams together with project leaders, mechanical engineers and external automation specialists. You will provide the process engineering input that is crucial to the success of the project. This requires substantive acumen, ownership and the ability to communicate clearly, both internally and externally.
At Jotem, you will be given a great deal of independence. We work on the basis of trust: you are responsible for your projects, your planning and your choices. At the same time, you are never on your own; sharing knowledge and working together are a matter of course.
Your tasks at a glance:
- Analysing customer queries and water analyses;
- Designing and substantiating process engineering solutions;
- Determining process configurations (filters, pumps, pipes, capacities);
- Providing functional input for automation and control;
- Liaising with project leaders, mechanical engineers and customers;
- Testing and commissioning installations, including explaining them to the customer.
Where will you be working?
At Jotem, based in Vriezenveen, we design and build water treatment installations for industry, food, hospitals and other critical applications. These are installations that are actually built, tested and commissioned, and of which we are justifiably proud. Water may seem like a given, but that is no longer the case. Service Monteur (Buitendienst)
As a Field Service Mechanic, you will be part of our technical service body. As a result, you will spend most of your working week on site at the customer. This gives you a lot of freedom, but also requires a high degree of responsibility. In this challenging and independent position, you are responsible for carrying out various service activities at customer sites & troubleshooting. In other words, you will prepare and execute service, maintenance and overhaul activities (mechanical and electrical).
