Projectcoördinator
As a Project Coordinator, you work on the construction and renovation of bridges, tunnels, locks, flood defenses, pumping stations, and water treatment plants. These are some of the most complex projects within Dutch infrastructure and water authorities. Within large, multidisciplinary projects, you are responsible as coordinator for one or more subprojects.
You collaborate with colleagues in project management, work preparation, and assembly, and coordinate with partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and the client. You maintain overview, adjust as needed, and work with your project team towards a successful completion.
As a Project Coordinator, you usually work with a fixed team on one or at most two projects at a time. You can work on site, at head office, from home, or at one of our partners’ offices. You are flexible in your work but ensure together with your team that your part of the project is successfully completed.

The department consists of a team of 20 professionals, where there is room not only for regular technical alignment but also for personal development. In this role, you are responsible for executing and leading project monitoring. Using data and information from the project team, you navigate together with the project manager toward an accurate end-of-project financial forecast, including the associated risk profile. You act as a financial sparring partner within these multidisciplinary projects.

From our Apeldoorn office, and occasionally Rotterdam, you ensure that financial policies are implemented and that up-to-date management information is available. You work closely with colleagues from Finance, Project Control, and other departments. What will you do? • Advise the management team on financial policy and contribute to solid financial operations. • Develop financial policies together with the department head, including KPIs, reports, and analyses. • Execute the planning and control cycle, prepare budgets, and provide reports. • Support audits and tax filings in compliance with laws and regulations. • Contribute to setting up and monitoring (project) administrative processes and optimize working capital. • Communicate proactively and continuously work on improving processes and results.

As Head Civil Supervisor, you are responsible for independently organizing, coordinating, and managing the execution teams and subcontractors. You make decisions regarding equipment and personnel deployment as well as material supply, ensuring that projects are executed safely, on time, and to the highest quality within the agreed budget. Your input in the project’s early phase is also very important, particularly regarding current contract forms such as design & build teams or the two-phase approach.
