Hydrochloric acid is widely used in (drinking) water and wastewater processes for pH correction, for example in softening, coagulation support and corrosion control. It is also commonly used for the regeneration of deionisers.

Because hydrochloric acid is corrosive, reliable supply and suitable packaging are essential. At Vivochem, hydrochloric acid is available in bulk, IBCs, pallet drums and pallet cans.
