Weir, fish lift and debris removal point Opwettense Watermill

Commissioned by the De Dommel Water Board, Van der Ven has successfully completed the renovation of the Opwetten watermill.

The existing weir has been replaced by a modern sluice gate, which improves water drainage and water safety. In addition, a fish lift and a debris removal point have been installed, thereby enhancing the ecology and maintenance of the water system.

This project has made the regional water system future-proof, with a focus on safety, ecology, and reliability.
