temporary aeration
Bosman Watermanagement can also use extra plate aeration temporarily. To take care of extra aeration capacity, we have got the following components: plate aerators, built together on frame constructions connecting pipework complete blower installations with potentially an aggregate To provide temporary aeration capacity, we developed special frame constructions with respectively four or six plate aerators, which we can easily apply to existing aeration basins. Also, we can supply a large amount of pipework out of stock.

The ONIXline rotary lobe process pumps
The ONIXline rotary lobe pumps were developed for applications in the process industry where high temperatures and pressure are common. The pump stands for gentle, practically pulsation-free pumping with maximized efficiency. The large sealing chamber makes the use of different sealing systems possible.

The Roxtec sealing system
Roxtec sealing modules are inserted around cables or pipes in frames that are attached to the structure by welding, bolting, casting or in core drilled holes. The frames are available in different materials and for various types of structure. The system is firmly and efficiently sealed with a compression unit.

Thermal power and gearboxes
The selection of a drive When designing an industrial application, selecting a suitable drive is of paramount importance. Not only the end customer (= user) benefits from a suitable drive combination, but also the machine builder (OEM) can save a lot of time, costs and image damage. Although there is a lot to select yourself, a number of things are often overlooked. In addition to the correct mounting position, consider the terminal box position, the service factor and also the power consumption of the application. As a result, there may be too much or too little oil in a gearbox, bearings are not lubricated properly or a too large (expensive) gearbox has been selected. A check on the thermal capacity of a gearbox is also often “a neglected child”. What is the thermal power of a gearbox? In addition to the ability of a gearbox to transmit power, there is also something called the “thermal capacity” of a gearbox. Simply put, the ability of the cabinet to dissipate the temperature/heat. The thermal capacity of a cabinet is mainly determined by the design of the gearbox, the total surface area and internal space determine the heat dissipation. An incorrect selection can therefore lead to major and costly problems, especially with the beautiful summers we have experienced last year. Without additional cooling or with a “tight selection”, a cabinet can overheat and cause significant damage internally. The operating environment and usage Should a very short operating time or very low ambient temperature apply, the concept of thermal power can be relatively unimportant. With S1 operation or longer periods at full (peak) power, or if there may be higher ambient temperatures, the concept of thermal power becomes a lot more relevant. More information? www.rossi.com

Thermowell in ScrutonWell® design
In order to avoid any damage to the thermowell during operation due to mechanical loads, a wake frequency calculation per ASME PTC 19.3 TW-2016 is recommended for critical process conditions. In case of a calculation with negative results, the only constructive solution so far was to shorten the thermowell stem or to increase the root and tip diameter, accepting a longer response time of the thermometer. The only other alternative up to now was to use a support collar to stabilise the thermowell stem inside the flange nozzle. This variant required an on-site machining of the collar to assure an interference fit in flange nozzles. The ScrutonWell® design reduces the amplitude of oscillation by more than 90 % 1) and allows an easy and fast installation of the thermowell without support collar, and thus without expensive and time-consuming rework on site. The WIKA ScrutonWell® design has been tested and approved by the independent laboratories TÜV NEL (Glasgow) and the Institute for Mechanics and Fluid Dynamics (Technical University of Freiberg). The ScrutonWell® design can be used for all kind of solid-machined thermowells with flange connection, in Vanstone design or for weld-in or threaded process connection. This helical design has been used successfully for decades in a wide variety of industrial applications to effectively suppress vortex-induced vibration excitation. Special features - The damping of vibrational excitation by helical strakes is a recognised state of the art in a wide variety of industrial applications - Easier and more cost-effective installation of the thermowell without any machining of the collar or nozzle compared to the conventional support of the thermowell with support collar - Optimised root design for improved bending strength

Threaded resistance thermometer, model TR10-D
Resistance thermometers of this series are used for the measurement of liquid and gaseous media at low and medium pressures. The resistance thermometer is screwed directly into the process. The electrical connection is made via connection terminals in the connection head (splash-proof). The measuring inserts are available in two variants, depending upon the application. There is a choice between versions with a replaceable, spring-loaded miniature measuring insert and versions with a non-replaceable measuring resistor built directly into the thermowell tip. Insertion length, process connection and sensor can each be selected for the respective application. Special features - Sensor ranges from -196 ... +500 °C [-320 ... +932 °F] - Compact design - Universal application - Direct installation into the process - Explosion-protected versions are available for many approval types

Titan RO
Membrane filtration is a pressure-driven membrane process that is mainly used to remove organic substances such as micro-pollutants and multivalent ions. Only the purest water penetrates the membrane. Bacteria, viruses, salt, iron and manganese compounds, ammonium, heavy metals, sodium, chlorine, nitrite, nitrate, sulphate and harmful gases are removed from the water. Membrane filtration even removes harmful substances that are not noticed when analyzing water samples. Filter pore sizes are between 1 and 10 nm.
