
LabScat - Dual-Angle Lab Turbidimeter
The LabScat monitors turbidity in liquids, using a single light source to detect transmitted light and scattered light at 90° and 25°. This allows colour-compensated dual-angle measurement according to MEBAK and EBC standard, in bottles and glass cuvettes. Bottle rotation and water-bath minimize disturbing influences, the quality of the water bath is monitored. Operation is done via a colour touchscreen. No tools are required for routine maintenance. Calibration check is simply performed with a calibration unit with a glass reference, which is part of the scope of supply. Sample ID and handling measuring data are performed using digital interfaces (USB, Ethernet with web browser).

For over a century, we have been producing screw pumps – also known as Archimedes screws – for applications in pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), irrigation projects, and flood management. Each screw pump is custom-designed and manufactured in our own factory in Sneek. Thanks to their open design, low energy consumption, and maintenance-friendly construction, our screw pumps have an exceptionally long service life, even under the toughest conditions. The Landustrie screw pump functions as a positive displacement pump based on the principle of Archimedes screw. At the inlet point, water flows into compartments between the blades. The rotating motion and the angled design gradually move the water upward. This open and clog-free design allows us to pump large volumes of water at a relatively low speed – without the risk of clogging or damage. This makes the auger extremely suitable for continuous use, even in water that is polluted or contains coarse particles.

LAR Online measurements for proceswater
With more than 10 trillion liters of process water used annually in Dutch industry, it is important to safeguard the quality of water and prevent pollution. One of the most important parameters to measure the degree of pollution is TOC (Total Organic Carbon). As the name suggests, a TOC analyser measures the total content of organic carbon compounds for both process water and return condensate. Other parameters such as total carbon (TC), total inorganic carbon compounds (TIC) and total nitrogen (TNb) can also be analysed. The online TOC analyser is an accurate measurement method to monitor and control wastewater during your production processes. The control of the process water and/or return condensate is realized by means of a high temperature oxidation (1200 °C) in which the sample is completely converted into CO2 and water, among other things. The formed CO2 is measured in a NDIR detector after treatment. Checking the quality of Purified water and Water For Injection (WFI) are also possible.
