BCK pump
In the Netherlands, the BCK pumps are mainly used for pumping sports fields and small polders. Ideal use: BCK pumps are an economically attractive solution for water transport. The BCK is suitable for pumping surface water with a capacity of up to 11 m³/min at a delivery head of up to approximately 3.5 metres. Applications: In the Netherlands, the pumps are mainly used for pumping sports fields and small polders. - land drainage - drainage of agricultural land in general - irrigation of agricultural land, e.g. in delta areas - irrigation of rice fields - water level control in fish ponds, salt pans and nature reserves - the pumping of stagnant water for the purpose of refreshment
Beveron Mixed Flow Concrete Volute Pump
Based on years of experience in the design and construction of concrete snail shell pumps, Bosman Watermanagement has developed the Beveron: a mixed flow pump with impressive performance and a low noise level. Ideal use: Versatile The Beveron is suitable for new constructions as well as renovations of pumping stations. The pump is available in a series of 29 standard modules covering a range of filtration speeds from 3 to 30m³/sec and heads between 1 and 10m. The Beveron achieves a high level of hydraulic efficiency due to perfectly matched components and its design ensures flow losses to be reduced to an absolute minimum. Moreover, Bosman Watermanagement has designed a unique suction box specifically for this pump that minimizes the required submersion depth. Impeller The impeller is 3-bladed, half-open and cast from one piece which makes for a very durable product. The impeller is manufacturable out of various materials so that it can correspond with the specified requirements for strength and corrosion resistance. Volute The volute has been specifically designed for the impeller and therefore has a very high hydraulic efficiency. The volute features a trapezoidal flow surface with a levelled floor. It is produced out of concrete and can be delivered as prefabricated elements on request. Suction box The unique shape of the suction box has been designed specifically to reduce friction loss and the chance of vortices forming down to a bare minimum. These vortices bring air with them into the pump and this impairs the effectiveness of the pump. The special design of the suction box is the result of extensive computer simulations. Trials in the test centre subsequent to the simulations have proven the high performance of this design.

BVOP pump
The BVOP is a high quality axial propeller pump with impressive performances, a high quality and a relatively low noise level. Ideal use: Bosman Watermanagement made use of its many years' experience in the development of the BVOP pump for the discharge of water from and/or management of the water level in polders and low-lying areas, and for supply of make-up water to canals with locks and in areas at higher altitudes in dry periods. Features: This pump, with a range of seven standard modules, is available with capacities of 12 to 360 m³/minute with a delivery head of approximately 10 meters. The combination of a preformed suction chamber with adjustable impeller blades and a spiral guide in a very generously-sized concrete volute achieves an ideal flow pattern with minimum losses and a large passage. Consequently, this design of this pump achieves a high efficiency. In addition, the pump requires only a shallow sub-mergence depth. Three impeller configurations for each size of pump guarantee optimum performance without harmful cavitation or vibration zones. The most suitable type of pump for specific application is determined using CAS (Computer Aided Selection). When selecting a pump type the specified duty point (flow/delivery head) needs to be realised. The minimum and maximum static delivery heads, the location of the optimum efficiency point, the NPSH etc. are additional factors that need to be taken into account when selecting a pump. Once a selection has been made, the CAS system will present the calculated pump curve and the desirable guarantee point. Applications: Bosman Watermanagement supplied the BVOP pump, for example, the Pilmuir pumping station, which aims to manage the floods in the Pilmuir area. The BVOP pump was also used in the new construction of the Houtkade pumping station in the pilder near Oud-Kamerik. Wondering how this was done and what the final result was?

Both with new as with existing installations, the bar screen cleaner can be applied. So far, over two hundred copies have been in use.

VISION - fish-friendly pump
The Vision pump, an extremely fish-friendly pump type, specially developed to allow fish migration through a pumping station. Ideal usage: The Vision is a fish-friendly pump, specially designed to allow fish to flow through a pumping station. The Vision is suitable for pumping stations and is available in a range of standard modules with a capacity of approximately 12-300 m³/min. Fish Friendly: The main objective of the development of the Vision pump was to prevent damage to fish stocks during the pumping of surface water. Research has shown that fish collide with the blades, get trapped in narrow crevices or can rub against a rough surface. By using a mixed-flow impeller with only one fish-friendly shaped blade in combination with a concrete snail shell where the tongue is far from the blade, an extremely fish-friendly design has been achieved.

''VISION MC''- fish-friendly pump
The Vision pump, an extremely fish-friendly pump type, specially developed to allow fish migration through a pumping station. This pump is suitable for converting existing pumping stations to a fish-friendly version! Ideal use: The Vision-MC is suitable for both new construction and renovation of polder pumping stations and is available in a range of standard modules, good for a capacity range of approx. 12 to 300 m3/min. Fish Friendly: By using a mixed-flow impeller with only one fish-friendly shaped impeller in combination with a metal impeller housing with three fish-friendly shaped impellers, an extremely fish-friendly design has been achieved.

B4 windwatermill
The Bosman Windwater Mill is the most common mill in the Dutch landscape for good reason. We have been supplying windwater mills since 1929 and are now producing the fourth generation. General: The use of wind turbines to drive pumps is an economically attractive and environmentally friendly solution for water transport. This is particularly true in areas where electricity is not available. In the Netherlands, the wind turbine was mainly used for draining farmland or farmland, but nowadays it is also used in nature reserves with so-called wetland situations. The mill already works with wind speeds from 3 m/s (1 Bft.). A simple float system makes fully automatic water level control possible. Under normal circumstances (particularly flat open ground), this mill can provide an area of 20-25 ha. Applications: - drainage of agricultural land in general - irrigation of agricultural land, such as in delta areas - irrigation of natural areas - water level control in fish ponds, salt pans and nature reserves - the pumping of stagnant water for the purpose of refreshment
