      Activated carbon filters

Activated carbon filters are used to capture pollution from the biogas. Activated carbon has a very large internal surface area and is therefore very suitable for adsorption. The active carbon can be impregnated with certain chemicals to increase its properties for specific applications. - Non-impregnated activated carbon is usually used for the removal of siloxanes and VOCs (e.g. terpenes) - Impregnated and catalytic activated carbon is mostly used for Removal of organic substances (e.g. Hg, NH3, H2S) For optimal adsorption in the activated carbon filters, air dosage is required. Biogas Holland has selected a number of activated carbon varieties for optimal stand time and selection requirements of our customers. In addition, we perform carbon swaps ourselves and make the activated carbon filter inert before the carbon swap, transport and processing. Biogas Holland designs tailor-made activated carbon filters.

    2. Adaptive collection and use of rainwater

Adaptive collection and use of rainwater

At the Green Village, a rainwater harvesting system will be realised by RMA Hydromet together with a number of partners. The rainwater falling on the roof of one of the buildings with an area of 120 m2 will be drained into an above ground collection tank. The water collected in this tank will be used for flushing toilets in the building and irrigating the "Green Wall", which will be installed on one side of the building. This picture shows an artist impression, of how the building as a whole could be fitted with a "Green Wall". The site also measures meteorological data such as; • Precipitation • Wind • Humidity • Air pressure • Temperature • Solar radiation A secondary goal (but equally important) is, by collecting precipitation, to relieve the, sewerage system. To achieve this goal, the precipitation forecast is read into the control unit every hour. Based on this forecast, a check is made as to whether the next downpour can be stored in the collection tank. If not, additional storage will be created by draining water from the tank.

    3. Advanox Cool

      Advanox Cool

Traditional cooling tower water treatment often uses biocides, resulting in high chemical pollution of installations and the environment. Advanox Cool offers a sustainable and effective solution. This technology minimises the use of chemicals while providing powerful and reliable protection against Legionella and other micro-organisms. This ensures stable and safe water quality. Advanox Cool combines UV-C disinfection with advanced oxidation for effective and sustainable water treatment. UV-C is a proven, chemical-free disinfection technology that reliably inactivates microorganisms. At the same time, advanced oxidation permanently breaks down nutrients and potential by-products in the water. This results in clean and stable cooling tower water, with a significantly reduced need for chemical additives and biocides. In practical situations, this approach leads to demonstrably lower operational costs compared to conventional chemical cooling tower water treatment.

    4. ADVANOX FLEX

      ADVANOX FLEX

Your organisation can reuse wastewater flawlessly or return it into nature. Even water with persistent micro-contaminants, such as pesticides, medicine residues or industrial waste. To make this possible, we developed the Advanox. The Advanox uses an advanced oxidation process (AOP), which combines UV-C light and sustainable hydrogen peroxide (H).2O2). This creates a powerful process that efficiently removes micro-contaminants and disinfects the water. This means you meet standards for the strictest regulations and prevent risks of damage to nature and our health.

Advice on sewerage and pump systems Is a pressure pipe repeatedly clogged? Are you dealing with a system that is not working properly? The knowledge of REMONDIS Smart Infra is an important pillar and the basis of our innovative capacity. This enables us to solve problems for our customers. With a theoretical calculation model we can calculate pumping stations and wastewater systems and hydraulically map complete pressure sewer systems and individual pumping stations. Advising role Are you dealing with issues about subsidies, legislation and regulations, permits, plans or research? The engineers at REMONDIS Smart Infra like to think proactively about sewerage issues and pump systems at the earliest possible stage. Our people can advise you in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software and telemetry. Use our knowledge.

    6. Advising replacement gearboxes, old designs (Retrofitting)

Advising replacement gearboxes, old designs (Retrofitting)

If repairing or overhauling is technically not interesting (cost), you probably are hoping that a replacement or similair drive is available. Sometimes you have a situation that the drive is an old model and the same design is no longer available. At Rossi we like the challenge of doing retrofitting projects and see if we can come up with a standard solution with good availability for many years to come. Rossi is known for its high-quality gearboxes and a Rossi product can therefore be an excellent alternative to your "old" gearboxes or gearmotors. We supply a large range from wormgear to bevel gear to planetary drives and can therefore also advise you about a replacement model. If the motor is a standard IEC motor and is still technically OK, then there is a good chance that you can still use the current motor via our wide line of motor gearboxes. We offer solutions from 0.09kW (IEC63) up to 160kW (IEC315) via B5 flange connection and even larger by means of a (flexible) coupling with lantern piece or coupling in combination with a foot model motor and/or base plate. With this combination we can work together to a durable future.

    7. AER-AS : High Speed Floating Surface Aerators

AER-AS : High Speed Floating Surface Aerators

The Aquaturbo AER-AS is a high-speed floating mechanical aerator. It consists of a high efficiency ambient operated motor customized to Aquaturbo wet environment operating standards. The unit is constructed from stainless steel and consists of a one-piece float, a suction cone, and a two flight Archimedes style Screwpeller®. The Screwpeller® generates a flat and large-diameter spray pattern maximizing the air-water contact zone. The AER-AS is easily adaptable to nearly any basin configuration. With a lengthened intake cone section, the AER-AS can penetrate water depths up to 8 m. This allows the unit to draw activated sludge of low oxygen concentration from the bottom of the basin to be transformed into an oxygen-rich surface discharge. Easy to install, robust and reliable, the Aquaturbo AER-AS ensures efficient aeration and mixing for years of maintenance free service.
