The future of water management
In fact, there’s only one water supply chain in the Netherlands, and it’s becoming increasingly integrated. Fortunately, it’s a chain that’s increasingly collaborating to address the challenges of circularity, climate adaptation, and safe water. Aqua Nederland is the leading national trade fair for wastewater, drinking water, process water, and urban water & sewer management. It brings together supply and demand for water technology, water management services, and knowledge products.
During Aqua Nederland, 300 exhibitors, 90 knowledge partners, and 6,500 visitors will gather to tackle water challenges together. You can join the packed and informative knowledge program free of charge, meet start-ups and innovative companies, and attend the spectacular KNW Fitterij competitions. In short, there’s plenty to experience!
Actually, there is only one water cycle in the Netherlands that is increasingly forming a whole. Fortunately, a chain that is increasingly collaborating to meet the challenges of circularity, energy transition, climate adaptation and safe water.
Aqua Nederland is the trade fair in the Netherlands in the field of waste water, drinking water, process water and urban water & sewage management. During Aqua Nederland, the supply and demand of water technology, water management services and knowledge products are brought together.
"De Watermarketplace"
The large exhibition hall features a wide range of suppliers specializing in water technology. Exhibitors showcase their latest products to professionals from water boards, drinking water companies, municipalities, and industry. It serves as a marketplace where supply and demand for water technology meet.
"Next Level"
On the upper floor, Next Level, the focus is primarily on knowledge sharing, advice, innovation, and careers. Climate adaptation is a key priority on this floor. Here you'll find suppliers of urban water solutions, the knowledge theaters, the Innovation Street, knowledge partners, research institutes, and consulting and engineering firms.

Knowlegde program Aqua Netherlands
65 knowlegde sessions and 90 speakers
“Working together on water” is Aqua Nederland’s motto! We join forces to make a difference and address current water issues. At Next Level, two knowledge theaters were filled for three days, with all sessions free to attend. With over 65 knowledge sessions and 90 speakers, it was a truly inspiring few days. KNW Fitterijwedstrijden
For the first time, the official KNW Fitterijwedstrijden (Royal Dutch Women’s Swimming Championships) took place during Aqua Nederland in Evenementenhal Gorinchem on March 18, 19, and 20, 2025. The 16th edition of the KNW Fitterijwedstrijden was a great success. More than 50 teams competed for the coveted prizes. It was a spectacular three-day event! Check out the results and highlights.
15th editions of Aqua Netherlands
The 15th edition of Aqua Nederland was a great opportunity for professionals to come together and discuss solutions to current challenges and brainstorm on how to accelerate innovation within the water sector.
Attendees could attend the extensive knowledge program at Next Level and gain access to numerous job openings within the sector.
And of course, we celebrated our anniversary at the networking dinner!
