Inside sales engineer mechanical engineering

No day is the same for a mechanical engineering sales engineer, because you never know in advance which problems you will have to solve today. As inside sales engineer you are the figurehead of the organization for the customers in the Netherlands. From our office in Rotterdam, you will work closely with the field sales engineer. Specifically, you are the specialist for the Drive Products product group in the field of drive technology (including motors, gearboxes and frequency inverters). These products are used in internal logistics, aviation, food, amusement parks, automotive and mechanical engineering. How do you do this? You talk to customers to identify and analyze their problems (mechanical and/or electrical engineering). You calculate drives and work out drive applications. You advise customers and make quotations. You work together with other departments, such as engineering and assembly (lean manufacturing) and with the headquarters in Germany.
