In this role you are responsible for various types of projects such as the installation of a new drinking water pipeline, the renovation of aeration tanks and the realization of complete mechanical installations. Completely different projects, with various disciplines, so no day is the same. One thing is always the same and that is that you are involved in all your projects and responsible from A to Z. For example, one project is still in the tender phase, you are preparing two other projects while a final project has to be delivered.
As a project leader at GMB you will be part of a professional and experienced team of project leaders, executors, work planners and other technicians. With your knowledge and experience, you know exactly how to manage your team and together you ensure efficient preparation and implementation of every project. In addition to contact with internal colleagues, you also spend a lot of time with external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers and subcontractors.

We are looking for a project manager who is responsible for coordinating and directing our projects. This person acts as a “spider in the web” within our projects and directs the right technical people to carry out the work efficiently and effectively. It is important that as a project leader you have a helicopter view and are able to maintain the entire project overview. So we are not necessarily looking for someone who understands all technical disciplines, but for a man or woman with a balanced insight who can bring the technical and organizational aspects of the project into harmony. You also have:
HBO working and thinking level gained through training or relevant work experience
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
Affinity with various contract forms such as UAV, UAV-gc and Bouwteam
Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
