REMONDIS Smart Infra B.V. is a dynamic company specialized in maintaining, supplying and installing complete pump installations and telemetry systems for wastewater and surface water. We use the telemetry system “i-View” developed by us in-house. This system consists of software for monitoring and managing pumping installations, storage basins, weirs and overflows. All installations of our customers – more than 150 municipalities, water boards, provinces and companies – are continuously connected to i-View. The customer can therefore view the current status of the installations anytime and anywhere and control them directly remotely if necessary. i-View is a fully web-based SaaS application hosted in Microsoft Azure. With reference to IoT techniques, the system is continuously fed with measurement data from the installations, but also with, for example, meteorological data from the KNMI, or data from other sources that are important to the user.
The team is based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The job location is flexible, but it is desirable to be present at the location at least three days a week.
What are you going to do?
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with the team of developers on the further development of the i-View telemetry system. Based on your experience, you come up with ideas and solutions for all kinds of technical problems and challenges, you monitor the quality and continuity of the software and you ensure a healthy and future-oriented system architecture.
The i-View team is a small team (4 FTE) in which you have a lot of freedom to choose your own solutions and to continuously develop yourself. We work based on the Scrum development methodology, where we determine during daily stand-up meetings who will work on which part.
