Extensive job description
As a PLC Software Engineer you are responsible for your own projects from preparation to delivery. You are responsible for translating a program of client requirements into a technical design. You then develop, write and test the software application for the PLC control and the visualization on the display. After testing, you must provide the correct documentation and draw up an operating manual. You also provide assistance with testing the installation and commissioning it for customers. Our installations combine various technologies, such as electrical engineering, process engineering and mechanical engineering.
Who are you?
For this role we are looking for a driven person with extensive knowledge and experience in the field of PLC technology (Siemens S7), TIA Portal, control technology and control technology (Home Automation, IoT, Frequency Regulators, etc.). It is important that you are passionate about making installations smarter, are interested in different communication protocols and amaze colleagues with your smart solutions. Furthermore you have:
A completed relevant technical MBO+/HBO education or comparable.
Extensive knowledge of TIA Portal and Siemens S7
Knowledge of Omron CX-one, Phoenix PLC-Next is an advantage.
