BRL SIKB 7800 includes (process) requirements that plant tank installers must apply when building a new tank installation. The processes are intended to be applied to the design, installation and delivery of a tank installation for chemicals. Companies falling under the Activities Decree are legally obliged to have their underground and aboveground tank installations for the storage of chemicals and liquid fuels installed under installation certificate by a BRL SIKB 7800 certified tank installer. A certified tank installer must install the tank installation according to the requirements of the BRL (assessment guideline) and possibly an approved RI&E before an installation certificate according to BRL SIKB 7800 can be issued. The storage tanks, sumps, fittings, pipes, etc. for the storage and dosing of chemicals will be part of this guideline. The assessment guideline describes the technical and organizational requirements RWB must meet in order to obtain a certificate. The BRL certificate gives our clients the assurance that our chemical storage and dosing installations meet the technical requirements of Dutch legislation.
