Illustrator Annemarie Bosgra has developed a beautiful children’s book about the value of drinking water for the Water for Life Foundation. 100% of the proceeds from the children’s book go to Water for Life projects to give people in poor neighborhoods worldwide sustainable access to safe drinking water and sanitary facilities, now and in the future.
The book is in A4 format and very beautifully illustrated. It is written for children between 4 and 8 years old. It tells a story about Guus the giraffe. His river is dry and he has to fetch drinking water. Together with Mees the mouse he starts his search for water. In their search they encounter all kinds of obstacles that people who do not have access to clean drinking water also encounter. He meets other animals that are not so careful about water use, and looks for ways to fill his own water source.
