With the arrival of 3D printing within ENLARG3D, we have gained unprecedented opportunities to produce (complex) printed products. The variation in geometry is in fact endless, just like the dimensions: 4 x 2 x 1.5m printing in one piece is possible!
The following types of products are eligible:
– double curved products,
– technical parts such as pipe parts / manifolds,
– art objects,
– spare parts such as lids/covers,
– as well as model building in low series
because in the past it was almost impossible to make or very expensive due to complex molds had to be made. Printing means no molds are needed and virtually any shape can be created, printed quickly and easily!
Making the products from recycled PET creates a circular product with good mechanical properties. The products can possibly be finished with a glass fiber reinforced polyester or epoxy layer.
