Filterunits voor schakelruimtes en -kasten ter voorkoming van aantasting elektronische componenten.

There is growing need within the sector for clean, conditioned air because acidic and contaminated gases quickly damage crucial components such as electronics, electrical equipment and display screens. These gases cause corrosion which damages printed circuit boards and components. This, in turn, can result in ghosting, inaccurate measurement or control signals and even computer malfunction. Following extensive research, leading suppliers of computer systems and measuring and control equipment jointly established a standard with guidelines for a corrosion-free environment. This is known as the ISA standard (International Society of Automation). This standard classifies gases by corrosion aggressiveness (class G1: mild, up to GX: severe). This standard also defines the air and room conditions to achieve a safe environment according to class G1 in, for example, MCC rooms, control rooms and data centres. To prevent gases from causing corrosion, ALLSORB Air Filter B.V. has a complete range of filtration equipment and filter media that capture harmful gases efficiently. You can use our high-tech measuring instruments such as the ChemWatch to monitor air quality in an air-conditioned room. We also have a complete service schedule for sampling and analysing the chemical filters. These analyses are needed for determining the remaining service life of a filter medium, and for replacing filters in good time in order to continue to guarantee the highest degree of air purity (G1). Our service team can take care of all maintenance. We control the complete air purity cycle, from measuring and controlling air quality to maintaining complete air filtration units.

    3. Filtration/Tertiary treatment solutions

      Filtration/Tertiary treatment solutions

ANDRITZ tertiary treatment solutions provide the final polishing step needed to meet today’s strict discharge limits and water reuse requirements. As primary and secondary treatment alone are no longer sufficient to reliably remove phosphorus, suspended solids, and remaining pollutants, advanced filtration becomes the critical final barrier to ensure compliance and high effluent quality. ANDRITZ systems are designed to boost plant performance by reducing the load on downstream processes, minimizing energy and chemical consumption, and delivering stable, high-quality treatment results. The portfolio includes gravity underdrain filters, continuous sand filtration, high-capacity disc filters, and mobile filtration units for flexible or temporary needs. These technologies are engineered for energy efficiency, durability, and straightforward integration into existing facilities. Whether for municipal plants or industrial sites with limited space, ANDRITZ solutions offer reliable solids removal and consistent filtration performance with minimal maintenance and low operational effort. In modern wastewater treatment, tertiary filtration is where sustainability, compliance, and long-term operational reliability come together.

    4. Fine screen

      Fine screen

In the year 2000 Spaans Babcock took over the assets of the German company Bormet, a manufacturer of fine screens with removable filter blocks for extremely easy maintenance and operation. This unique and patented system was brought to the market in 1990 and is still a revolutionary improvement on the conventional continuous belt screens. Spaans Babcock moved the production to its factory in the Netherlands, where the screen perfectly fits in with the range of heavy-duty equipment produced there. Worldwide more than 250 Bormet fine screens have been installed on municipal sewage treatment plants and industrial waste water plants.

    5. FireFLy IoT Communication Small Pump stations

FireFLy IoT Communication Small Pump stations

FIREFLY is designed in a robust industrial design. FIREFLY can be supplied with 2 lithium AA batteries, with an expected lifetime of at least 5 years FIREFLY is a Danish developed and produced product, and comply with all specifications for electronics components, for installation in harsh environments. Applications: FIREFLY is designed for use as a simple alarm unit, according to the term “The local red alarm lamp has become intelligent” FIREFLY is a battery-powered intelligent alarm device that can replace the existing red alarm lamp, which means, pump and high-water alarms are sent directly to the SRO system via the use of Sigfox communication. With the the help af an external power coil, it can also detect the number of starts and operating time for the pump.

    6. Fish friendly Pump Turbine with Concrete Volute - BVOP

Fish friendly Pump Turbine with Concrete Volute - BVOP

The BVOP VVT is an innovative pump turbine with a concrete volute, developed by Stork. It operates efficiently on both pumping and turbine modes and is designed to be fish-friendly, enabling energy generation during water intae without harming aquatic life. This solution is ideal for converting existing pumping stations, either by retaining the original volute or integrating a new concrete volute. BVOP VVT: SUSTAINABLE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND AQUATIC LIFE The BVOP VVT pump turbine is sustainable in several ways: • With the BVOP VVT pump turbine, the existing wet path via the pump is used for the intake of water to the polder. The pumping station functions as a turbine and generates electricity continuously, which can be fed back into the grid. • The pump has an environmentally friendly bearing and pump shaft seal. Where contact with the pumped medium can occur, the pump is water-lubricated and no grease is used. This prevents pollution of the surface water. • The pump is certified fish-friendly according to the NEN 8775 standard (>97% fish-friendly), for both the pump and turbine function. • The design is robust and executed in such a way that only minimal maintenance is required. • A customer-specific design of the impeller and volute is made based on the requirements of the pumping station. For example, we design an optimally performing pump, based on the desired capacities and head, in combination with optimal operational management. PUMP TYPE: Stork BVOP 120 CAPACITY: 200 m³/min LIFT HEIGHT: 2.42 m TURBINE: 47 kW generated continuously at 3.4 m drop ACTIVITIES: • Conversion to BVOP fish-friendly pump • New impeller and spiral hydraulic design • Pump manufacturing and assembly • Manufacture prefab concrete volute • New concrete block design • Permanent magnet motor 280 kW • FAT test of engine under full load • Installation on site, IBS, SAT

    7. Fishfriendly pumps

      Fishfriendly pumps

The patented fish-friendly pump allows more than 97 percent of the fish and even 100 percent of the eel to pass through the pumping station unscathed. The fish-friendly pump was developed in response to the adverse effects of conventional pumps in pumping stations on the fish stock. A substantial part of the fish mortality is caused when fish collide with the impeller blades and/or guide vanes when passing through conventional pumping stations. Furthermore conventional pumps greatly interfere with the innate migration of fish, and the eel population is especially threatened.

    8. Fishlift - Ecology meets Technology

      Fishlift - Ecology meets Technology

The importance of fish migration is on the national and international agenda. In practice, however, our water systems are full of objects that block fish migration routes, and fish are banging their nose every kilometer in Europe. Partly because of this, the fish stock has declined enormously, with all its consequences. How do we remove these barriers and create insight? With the Smart Vislift! The Smart Vislift is a round plug & play fish passage that can be placed anywhere within an instant. Fish are counted, viewed and measured. Research has shown that fish set high requirements for assuming flow rates in fish passages. With its artificial intelligence, the Smart Vislift automatically adjusts the flow speed to the wishes of the fish species and the fish migration period. Fish swim upwards through a round wok. This means that the installation takes up less space and is suitable for both small, weak and large, strong swimmers. Always the right flow speed in your fish passage, also with fluctuating heights within target level heights. The Smart Vislift monitors the fish and water quality. This gives water managers valuable information about the relationship between water quality and fish migration. An intelligent fish passage that monitors, communicates and reports within the WFD objectives: Through the Smart Vislift the underwater world becomes digital and we can find out more and manage situations better.
