Project Solingen

Sewer system modernization in Solingen with a pumping system handling 1,080 m³ of wastewater per hour.

Technical Implementation

As part of the modernization of the sewer system in Solingen, a powerful pumping system was installed to reliably transport up to 1,080 m³ of wastewater per hour. This ensures continuous wastewater flow during the construction work.

A key challenge was the limited space in Solingen city centre. Due to the restricted conditions, a standard solution was not possible. Customized solutions were therefore developed to integrate the pumping system efficiently into the existing infrastructure.

Close cooperation with the client allowed the technical requirements to be coordinated precisely and necessary adjustments to be implemented flexibly. The system was fully adapted to the local conditions and specific project requirements.

Project Status

The installation of the pumping system was successfully completed. This allows the further modernization of the sewer system to continue as planned. During construction, the system ensures reliable wastewater drainage.

Challenges and Solutions

The limited space in Solingen city centre was the main challenge. Thanks to flexible planning, close cooperation with the client and customized solutions, the system was successfully installed and connected to the existing infrastructure.

Result

The successful installation of the pumping system provides an important foundation for the continued modernization of Solingen’s sewer system. With a capacity of up to 1,080 m³ of wastewater per hour, the system supports the safe and efficient execution of the construction work. In the long term, the project contributes to improving and modernizing the region’s wastewater infrastructure.
