CellCap
Recovering raw materials and saving energy are the key characteristics of the CellCap® process. Cellulose, the main component of toilet paper, is one of the raw materials that can be recovered from wastewater. CellCap® is the technology for producing clean, marketable cellulose. In addition to producing a valuable raw material, the CellCap® installation offers a significant reduction in energy consumption for aeration in the wastewater treatment plant. Moreover, by recovering cellulose, the amount of sludge produced—and therefore the consumption of chemicals—is minimized, the treatment capacity is increased, and costs are sustainably reduced. CellCap® already received the Aquatech Innovation Award in 2017. According to the jury: “This is a very good example of resource recovery and is a perfect example of the circular economy in action.”

Central controller- Optimizer 4.0
Optimize your compressed air system with master controllers Save energy and reduce CO2 emissions by automating the control of your equipment. Our central controller Optimizer 4.0 can be set to prevent unequal wear of compressors, equalizing the running hours on multiple machines for more efficient service scheduling and reduced cost. Moreover, VSD and centrifugal units will run at the optimum point whenever possible. Without our central controllers, the load/unload pressure of each compressor must be set to react to changes in air demand. If the system pressure drops, an additional compressor will switch to loaded running. However, the sequence will always be the same, and this leads to a higher pressure than required (the higher the pressure, the higher the energy cost).

Centre of Expertise Watertechnology (CEW)
The Centre of Expertise Water Technology (CEW) is the leading innovative work and learning center for applied research on issues across the entire water cycle. Together with students, businesses, and educational institutions, we conduct research on water-related issues directly arising from the field and society. This way, we collaborate on solutions to the impact of climate change and train the next generation of problem-solvers. We believe that water is both the unifying factor and the greatest challenge of the next century. Water is everywhere. Clean drinking water is becoming scarcer, and companies are no longer able to connect to water sources. The way we manage water needs to change. And CEW can help. We conduct applied research on issues across the entire water chain. For example, consider a company that wants to reduce its water consumption or one that simply wants to gain insight into its actual water consumption. We then collaborate with you to develop smart solutions. This requires expertise from various disciplines, including the natural sciences, the arts, and the social sciences.

Centric butterfly valves, serie 820
Centric butterfly valves with an elastomer liner, available as wafer, lug or U-section type. Depending on your application, the body, liner and disc material are determined to withstand specific working conditions. Desponia is a butterfly valve for on/off and control applications from -20°C until 140°C according to the material. Suitable for aggressive and abrasive media.

Centrifugal pump from the ACP Series
The ANDRITZ ACP series single-stage centrifugal pumps feature a wear-resistant design, different impeller solutions making them ideal for clear and conveying slightly contaminated media with up to 8% solids. With low axial thrust and open channels, they serve a wide range of applications in water supply, wastewater treatment, desalination, irrigation, and drainage. These pumps are also suitable for industries like pulp and paper, mining, offshore, power, food, and chemicals. Their modular design ensures high availability and reduces spare part inventory.

CeraMac® Cost-effective ceramic membrane design
CeraMac® is an innovative and cost-effective ceramic membrane filtration process designed by PWNT. This design enables the economically viable use of ceramic membranes on surface water for large-scale applications, as well as for reuse and desalination applications. CeraMac® offers a compact proprietary system with multiple membranes mounted in one vessel. This reduces the cost of the ceramic membrane system to a level that makes the cost of the system competitive. CeraMac® offers a compact proprietary system with multiple membranes mounted in one vessel. This reduces the cost of the ceramic membrane system to a level that makes the cost of the system competitive. The advantages of ceramic membranes are: -No fiber breakage - Indefinite service life (proven > 20 years with continuous use) -Use of ozone upstream of the membrane for cleaning -Possibility to use strong chemicals to clean the membrane and prevent fouling -Using high rewind speeds to restore permeability - Narrow pore size distribution -Sustainable materials, without plastic -Potential for high throughput with small footprint compared to other technologies CeraMac® offers the following benefits: -Very small footprint -Low energy consumption -High reliability -Low maintenance -Powerful backwash, at a pressure of 5 bar -High productivity > 95%.

Ceramic membrane filtration
Ceramic membrane filtration is a robust and sustainable technology for the production of clean and reliable water. RWB delivers the compact modular systems from METAWATER. The membranes have a pore size of 0.1 µm and thereby fall into the microfiltration class. Due to the removal of impurities like suspended substances, turbidity, bacteria and protozoans, the technology is very suited as a purification step in the production of drinking water, process water or for purification and reuse of wastewater. Ceramic membrane filtration offers the following advantages: - Guaranteed continuous 100 % integrity - No fragile separate membrane reeds - Resistant to pressure and heat - Resistant against aggressive chemicals (effective cleaning) - Back wash with very high speed - Very high efficiency achievable - Large filtration surface per membrane module (25 m²) - Long guaranteed membrane lifespan - Low environmental impact

Certification Process Green Gas
We fully support organizations in obtaining green gas certification according to RED-III requirements. We ensure that CO₂ savings, supply chain registration, and sustainability criteria are fully and demonstrably in order. Thanks to our in-depth knowledge of both technical processes and legal requirements, we lay a solid foundation for successful certification. Certification enables the official marketing of green gas and increases its value. This makes the process clear, feasible, and completely worry-free.

CERTIFIED-SERIES
When you use water for drinking or in critical (production) processes, in terms of clean and safe water, only 100% certainty counts. To make this possible, we developed the Certified Series (C series) UV systems. These internationally certified systems are guaranteed to purify your water according to the desired quality standards. The C-series is a valued system thanks to the reliability in, for example, the maritime sector and the pharmaceutical and food industry. Industries in which production security and product safety are of vital importance.

Chemical storage and dosing
RWB received the process certificate BRL SIKB 7800 from Kiwa Netherlands on July 1, 2021. BRL SIKB 7800 includes (process) requirements that plant tank installers must apply when building a new tank installation. The processes are intended to be applied to the design, installation and delivery of a tank installation for chemicals. Companies falling under the Activities Decree are legally obliged to have their underground and aboveground tank installations for the storage of chemicals and liquid fuels installed under installation certificate by a BRL SIKB 7800 certified tank installer. A certified tank installer must install the tank installation according to the requirements of the BRL (assessment guideline) and possibly an approved RI&E before an installation certificate according to BRL SIKB 7800 can be issued. The storage tanks, sumps, fittings, pipes, etc. for the storage and dosing of chemicals will be part of this guideline. The assessment guideline describes the technical and organizational requirements RWB must meet in order to obtain a certificate. The BRL certificate gives our clients the assurance that our chemical storage and dosing installations meet the technical requirements of Dutch legislation.
