Introduction to the FDM-14: Operational Monitoring for Single-Phase Adsorption Dryers
Introduction of the FDM‑14: Operational monitoring for single‑phase adsorption dryers Smaller single‑phase adsorption dryers from DST‑Seibu Giken often lack an integrated monitoring function. As a result, it is not always immediately visible whether the dryer is dehumidifying or if a fault has occurred. Especially at installations with multiple units or unattended locations, this can lead to unnecessary service visits or delayed fault detection. With the introduction of the FDM‑14, D&F Techniek offers a practical solution. Practical upgrade for existing installations Until recently, operational monitoring was only possible if integrated during production. This increased the cost and offered no option for retrofitting. The FDM‑14 now makes it possible to equip existing single‑phase adsorption dryers with an external monitoring module. This enables users to see at a glance whether the dryer is running or if a fault is present. For locations with multiple dryers, it provides better oversight and faster alarm detection. Fewer unnecessary service visits Faults on smaller dryers are not always noticed right away, or a service engineer must visit the site only to find that the unit is working correctly. With the FDM‑14, alarms can be forwarded via volt‑free contacts, enabling remote fault detection and more efficient maintenance planning. Suitable for single‑phase adsorption dryers The FDM‑14 is developed for single‑phase adsorption dryers from DST‑Seibu Giken, but in some cases can also be used with dryers from other brands. This makes operational monitoring more accessible, without switching to a fully integrated control system.

INVENT HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixer
The INVENT HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixer is a vertical shaft mixer with a hyperboloid-shaped mixer-body installed close to the bottom and a dry-mounted drive. The rotation of the mixer body close to the bottom generates high-speed and turbulence at the bottom of the basin. This reliably prevents the settling of sludge particles. Its efficient design and the use of rugged materials minimizes operating and maintenance costs. The HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixer is the optimum mixer for all suspending and homogenization tasks required for applications in the area of water and wastewater treatment.
INVENT HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixing and Aeration System
The HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixing and Aeration System was introduced in numerous process stages of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants over 25 years ago. Uniquely, it combines the features of an agitator with those of an aerator, offering an extremely flexible range of operation and use: Agitation without aeration Fine bubble aeration with simultaneous homogeneous and deposit-free mixing Intermittent operation (e.g. SBR process, MAB) The sophisticated design, the rugged construction and the mechanical aeration principle make this agitation and aeration system very versatile. As such, INVENT offers a reliable and variable solution for complex problems: High oxygen supply capacity even in difficult media (high TS, surface-active substances) No increase in pressure drop during operation in contrast to membrane aeration No aerosol formation Deposits are avoided in all operating stages Design in lift-out version available Materials are matched to operating conditions (temperature, pH, salinity, precipitation, etc.) The HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixing and Aeration System is tailored to your requirements on a case-by-case basis and can be supplied in a number of versions – for installation on a bridge/tank cover, lift-out, submerged or floating.

INVENT iTURBO®-Blower
The iTURBO®-Blower is a centrifugal compressor with individually optimized precision rotating bodies. An intelligent operating concept with multiple machines enables the setting of optimum operating points to achieve maximum efficiency. Customer-specific pressure stages achieve the peak efficiency at the operating points that are most frequently approached based on the aeration strategy. This contributes to a significant reduction in energy consumption. The iTURBO®-Blower is driven by a high-speed PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motor) with frictionless high-performance air bearings. The motor operates with an integrated frequency converter with an efficiency level > 96%. Not only does it drive the motor, but it also monitors the torque, power, and speed supplied to the motor, for reliable, low-maintenance operation. The compact and lightweight design ensures quick and easy installation.

IoT controller
The IoT controller is a mini sized and low power TeleController in a series of Remote Terminal Units (RTU) that Inter Act has developed for telemetry over internet. The IoT controller can be connected to a private and secured (remote) SCADA domain in TeleControlNet. TeleControlNet.nl is a Software as a Service (SaaS) for WEBscada applications. The IoT controller is an integration of a generic computing platform with in- and outputs, and an onboard LoRa radio module for (wireless) data communication.

IoT Kathodische bescherming
Periodiek (jaarlijks of meerdere keren per jaar) vindt de controle op kathodische bescherming plaats aan ondergrondse leidingen. Op deze manier kan inzicht worden verkregen in de mate van bescherming tegen corrosie van de leidingen. Het proces van deze periodieke controle is een arbeidsintensief proces, is er een hoge mate van foutgevoeligheid en zijn de metingen niet frequent genoeg om bij calamiteiten direct actie te kunnen ondernemen. Een sensor die in elke KB-meetpaal geplaatst kan worden en zijn data vrijwel direct naar een platform kan sturen waar analyse uitgevoerd kan worden en indien nodig alarmering kan plaats vinden zou uitkomst bieden. Hierdoor wordt ook minder CO2 uitstoot gegenereerd omdat je gerichte rijbewegingen kan plannen voor de eventuele storingsmeldingen in het systeem.

Typical applications include monitoring water infiltration/buffering, surface water, overflow detection, IBC level monitoring, etc.

Versatile IoT logger for logging and monitoring water level and surface water quality. Are you looking for level measurement or water quality monitoring, for example, of surface water? Then the IoT Multi-Logger is the right product for you. The unit is specifically designed to communicate with sensors from various vendors and sends the measurement data to a secure domain within the Wioniq IQ SaaS platform for advanced WEBscada and WEBmes applications. Communication between the sensor and the IM915 is based on the Modbus RTU protocol with RS485 transmission. This allows easy access to sensors for water level, oxygen, temperature, turbidity, conductivity, pH, redox, moisture, etc. The battery-powered unit activates the sensor at adjustable intervals, receives the measurement data, and stores it in its memory. To optimize battery life (up to 5 years), the data is sent to the server once a day. Within the Wioniq IQ platform, measurement data is presented in a process view, and alarms are sent if the measurement exceeds a certain threshold. Applications: Remote water level and water quality monitoring for municipalities and water boards.
