Inline total solids analyzer for waste water.

The Valmet TS (total Solids), dry solids measurement, is designed for municipal and industrial wastewater applications. This microwave-based measurement technology makes it possible to continuously measure sludge (or other solids) inline within a range of 0 to 50% with high reproducibility. By having real-time insight into the dry matter concentration at various positions in your water treatment plant, it becomes possible to control the dewatering process in a more targeted manner. This not only results in a higher efficiency of dewatered sludge, but also in cost reduction in energy consumption, transport, polymer and maintenance of your systems. The Valmet TS has no moving or optical parts, so no periodic maintenance is required. This means that the system is virtually maintenance-free and also works above 3 bar pressure (max 100). No optics are used, so that there is little or no influence of struvite, oil or grease on the accuracy of the measurement.

    2. Innamepompstation Bergsche Maas

      Innamepompstation Bergsche Maas

Van der Ven started construction on the pumping station in March 2019. More than 2 years later, the project has been fully completed with a great result. With a maximum capacity of 24 mᶾ per second, this is the largest raw water intake pump station in the Netherlands. A project full of challenges The many disciplines, the technical and logistical challenges, the unique phasing and the special but difficult-to-reach location made it a project full of challenges. The project involves a combination of hydraulic engineering work, foundation work, concrete work, construction work, mechanical and electrical installations, and site design. Two parts are one! The phasing of construction was unique. It appears to be one building, but it is built in two parts. The deep cellar was built separately from the adjacent building. This allows settlement differences between the 2 building parts to occur independently. After both parts were ready, the 2 parts were poured together into 1 whole. This construction method also contributed to the fact that we could start finishing in the 'lower part', while the concrete work in the basement was not yet ready. In addition to preventing cracks due to settlement, we have also been able to shorten the lead time. Ready for the future Climate change and the varying water quality in the Maas (river) made this an important project. The new intake pump station has a maximum capacity of up to 24 m3 per second and can fill an Olympic swimming pool in less than two minutes. With this intake pump station, Evides can take in more water for their reservoirs even faster and take in water from the Meuse when it is at its best. The new intake station is therefore ready for the future and can continue to guarantee reliable drinking water for the vast majority of the south-west of the Netherlands.

Innovatieproject De regendruppel die de stad doet overlopen

The need for innovative and future-proof water management solutions has never been greater. Kanters Infratechniek, Rational Solutions, Ximore and Groendakcoach are joining forces to address the challenges of water scarcity and urban flooding. In the project “The raindrop that makes the city overflow” we are jointly setting up a pilot project in which we develop, test and validate new solutions and services. By creating a comprehensive, automated and digitalized water management system, we aim to combat water scarcity in rural areas and reduce urban flooding, while contributing to the global effort for climate adaptation.

      Innovation & Implemention

Innovation is essential to respond to external changes, such as climate change, increasingly congested subsurfaces, and rising customer expectations. Water organizations can reap the benefits of (digital) innovations that are occurring at an increasingly rapid pace, for example, in the fields of remote sensing and AI. Innovation is energizing, but also demanding for your organization. With expertise in the field and a focus on the human side, we are happy to help you systematically explore and develop (digital) innovations. Blueprofs is also the right place for implementing existing innovations.

    5. Innovative and proven Multi X filter for save protection down to 40 μm.

Innovative and proven Multi X filter for save protection down to 40 μm.

High Grade of Filtration The MULTI X ensures the safe protection of our customer’s applications with a consistently high filtration quality down to 40 μm. The proven Multi-Bernoulli technology warrants a continues and effective filtration even at low operating pressures starting from only 0.7 bar. Backflush Rate Exceptionally low backflush rates of less than 1% of the total volume flow are possible and underline the unmatched efficiency of the MULTI X. While maximizing the clean water flow the waste water flow is reduced to a minimum. Compact Design With its smart and modular design, the MULTI X offers a considerably smaller footprint saving up to 40% of space compared to conventional filter solutions. This compact design based on smaller and standardized components, reduces the required maintenance space and efforts significantly. The flanges are arranged in-line to ensure an easy piping integration without any height offset. In many different industrial application quench towers are used to condition or clean gases. A high filter availability and performance are key to ensure the productivity of the overall plant. The SAB product portfolio covers many innovative and proven filter solutions which reliably remove solids out of the quench water in order to protect heat exchangers or quench internals, for example the demister. Furthermore, the exceptionally low backflush flow minimizes the fluid losses.

    7. Inspections

      Inspections

Our technicians can support you in identifying and carrying out the maintenance work specifically required for your biogas plant, biogas utilisation or industrial heat systems. With an on-site visit, the entire installation is inspected thoroughly and points of attention are addressed immediately. This allows you to guarantee and increase the safety and continuity of your process. Gascamera Despite intensive maintenance, gas leaks can occur in a biogas installation. The release of biogas, and with it harmful residual products, can lead to dangerous situations. This must be avoided at all times. Leaks can occur because pipework expands or shrinks as a result of changing temperatures or seasonal influences. This can cause small openings at pipe connections, through which gas can easily escape. Our specialists use advanced gas detection equipment that is capable of detecting and visualising more than 400 different types of gas by means of so-called Optical Gas Imaging (OGI). Our inspections are carried out according to the guidelines of the NTA 8399 by gas measurement certified specialists. Preventive measuring and timely detection of leaks ensures better safety, higher efficiency and emission reduction. For more information visit www.gascamera.nl.

    8. IntenSieve® — the fine‑screening technology of the future.

IntenSieve® — the fine‑screening technology of the future.

The CirTec fine screen is a rotating belt filter designed for separating suspended solids from water. Depending on the application and the solids to be removed, the machines are equipped with a screen cloth with a mesh size ranging from 90 to 1,000 microns. The fine screen models are available in various machine sizes, allowing a wide range of flow capacities to be processed. By combining multiple machines, any required flow rate can be handled. With around sixty operational fine screens in the Netherlands, CirTec is the market leader in fine screening technology in the country. Fine screens can be used for various applications, including reducing the load on downstream treatment processes and effluent polishing. CirTec has references at both municipal wastewater treatment plants and across a wide range of industries, such as food production, recycling, and tanneries.
