      The VACOMASS® elliptic control valve is a technically optimized sliding gate control valve with gas-tight shut-off and an elliptical control aperture. It is used for precise and low-loss control of air flow and distribution in the aeration tanks of a wastewater treatment plant. Within the usual control range the valve has a stable control curve, and it can be used from 0-100% stroke. It is designed to have a pressure loss of less than 10 mbar at full load and 100% stroke. The design stroke in control mode typically ranges between 30 – 70%, pressure drop will range between 8-15 mbar.

      Van HART naar Smart instrument

      De FieldPort SWA50 van Endress+Hauser kan HART instrumenten upgraden naar draadloze communicatie waardoor ze klaar zijn voor IIoT toepassingen. De HART instrumenten in uw fabriek zijn niet langer gebonden aan het verzenden van informatie via de kabel. Endress+Hauser heeft een kleine maar krachtige adapter geïntroduceerd die achteraf op een HART instrument kan worden aangesloten - de FieldPort SWA50. De FieldPort SWA50 voegt draadloze communicatie toe aan een bestaande HART instrument op basis van Bluetooth en/of WirelessHART-communicatie onafhankelijk van de leverancier van het HART instrument. Hiermee wordt een zogenaamd ‘2e kanaal’ gerealiseerd om toegang te krijgen tot gegevens uit het veldinstrument en deze informatie optioneel door te zetten naar een cloud based ecosysteem, waarmee het voor IIoT toepassingen kan worden gebruikt.
