Machining factory De Smidse BV is a metall processing factory founded 1891 in Groenlo The Netherlands. It is specialized in production, modification, overhauling and automation of industrial valves.

Own products of De Smidse BV are for example fabricated strainers and pneumatic liniar actuators for valves. Also daily business is the fabrication of piping of all sorts and sized in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium but also exotic materials as duplex, inconel, cunifer etc.

The clients, mostly valve dealers, project- and engineering firms, provide a worldwide distribution of the products in the following branches: (pertro-)chemical, offshore, shipping, energy, food industries, waste- and drinking water.

Machine bench fitter

To expand our team, we are looking for a machine bench fitter who can work independently but also in a team. Products you work on are valves in all shapes and sizes, actuators for valves, machine parts such as shafts and flanges. Both creating new products and repairing and overhauling existing products. In single pieces or small series. You usually work from start to finish with a complete product that is used at home or abroad in sectors such as offshore, petrochemicals, energy supply, drinking water and pumping stations. It is a varied job that involves turning/milling/drilling, tinkering, blasting/spraying, testing and installing.

Welder TIG & MIG/MAG

To expand our team, we are looking for an experienced welder who can work independently but also in a team. Products you work on are flange connections, piping and tube components in single pieces or small series. You are usually working from start to finish with a complete product that is used in offshore, petrochemicals, energy supply, drinking water, pumping stations, etc. This sometimes also involves certified photo welding according to ASME or EN/ISO with welding examination (X-ray, magnetic). A demonstrable welding level at level 3 or 4 for TIG and MIG/MAG is therefore a requirement.
